Indulge your inner vixen. You asked for naughtier lovers, with the same fierce loyalty as The Bradens. Meet the Wild Boys...four sinfully sexy, uber alpha brothers, about to fall head over heels for their leading ladies. The Wild Boys After Dark series is loosely tied to the Love in Bloom series....
Everything's naughtier after dark....
No last names. No strings. No ties.
Except of the silk variety.
Dr. Heath Wild and Allyson Jenner only wanted a simple tryst. But Heath couldn't live with just one night, just one taste, of Ally - and Ally couldn't escape the memory of his hands on her skin, the way he looked at her like she was his obsession, or his seduction, which had pushed her to the edge and had made her want to do things she never had before.
One night leads to one tantalizing phone call. Can one phone call lead to forever?
The After Dark series is part of the Love in Bloom big family romance collection. Each book may be listened to as a stand-alone novel, or as part of the series.

Hot, Romantic and sweet
The beginning :) It has you hooked right from the start.
I have listened to Logan. Somehow, the voices are different and I heard Heath and not Logan. I love his voice. I found it calming.
Heath and Alysons come together after what Heath thought would be just a one night stand. However, Alyson gets under his skin and he finds himself breaking his own rules. They have both been hurt in past relationships and it's nice to see their relationship and trust grow. Enjoy
"Sweet and Hot"
Heath and Allie meet up at a conference and the book opens with their hot encounter. Both have been burnt in previous relationships and only want uncommitted sex. It turns into more very quickly.
The sex is hot and both Heath and Allie are so likable that it's a joy to read
A story on the shorter side all things move quickly but it feels good.
Definite one to buy.
The narrator is great! Do yourself a favor and get this as well as Logan, book 1, I plan on getting the rest of the Wilde boys books and the Bad boys as well!
"Another Hot Book/Audible From Melissa Foster"
Yes, I could and do read and listen to All of Melissa Fosters books over and over. I find that each time I listen/read I find more and more that I love about her books
This is the second Wild book that I have listened to. I would compare this to her other "Wild" books.
I enjoyed Robert Ashker Kraft's performance. Still getting a little used to a man's voice in a "romantic setting"
When Heath realized Aly was the girl for him!
"Average sex story"
This book is more about sex and less about the story. It is an average story with repetitive sex scenes and no intrigue. The narration is good.
Oh how I love the Wild Boys. Robert Ashker Kraft, the narrator, does a marvelous job of bringing them to life. The changes in the tone, the attitude, and the cadence is perfect for this sexy story. I enjoyed listening to his tone while reading as one of the other characters.
Oh Heath. He is hot, sexy, and so alpha. Yet he is so lonely. He lives life one day at a time and doesn’t make long term commitments. He broke my heart, until he met Ally. Instantly there was sparks and I could feel it was more than a one nighter. Ally tried to follow his rules... No last names, no strings, no ties but could not shake the memories.
I loved that it came down to Heath wanting more from Ally and Ally being cautious. He had to work at winning her trust and her heart. While working to win over Ally the reader got to see Heath’s sweet and sensitive side. I am in total lust with this man.
As with the rest of the series, it is steamier and sexier than the rest of the Braden series. Yet, it is just as amazing. I started and finished in one car ride and could not wait to keep reading about the Wild Boys.
"Edgier and sexier for sure!"
The next book in the Wild Boys After Dark has such a simple set up, I can tell you in one sentence: Heath Wild and Allyson Jenner were only supposed to have one night together but after that one night neither one is satisfied and the two begin to make their way towards a possible forever. How’s that for a setup? There’s actually a lot more going for it than just that simple summary though.
Heath’s story continues with author Melissa Foster’s promise to deliver darker, edgier, sexier romances to her fans. So does she do it?
Yes. Heath is definitely a more sexual character than what I’ve read before from Foster (I’m still new to her books but yeah, this is a little different). I personally like these sexier stories.
I liked Heath as a character. He’s charismatic in his own way and while relationships didn’t hold an appeal to him at first, he wasn’t in complete denial about the fact that one night with Ally wasn’t going to be enough for him. I would have liked to know a little more about his past and how that shaped him into the man he is when the story begins.
The same with Ally, there isn’t much background info on her just little slivers that didn’t give me a clear picture of who she was as a woman. I did know that she was a little gun shy about doctors, and she was an intelligent and gutsy woman.
Together Heath and Ally made sense and I appreciated the lack of drama BUT (Yeah there is a “but”), their relationship seemed too easy for the little bit of background information I had. Heath avoided commitment, why? And why was it that he could slide almost effortlessly into a relationship with Ally? How about Ally, she had a “no-go” when it came to doctors yet she was okay with Heath with little to no conflict? It was a little too insta-love for me which I have a hard time believing no matter what the case is. The one thing I will say is that even though this series is the more sexier side to Melissa Foster, there’s still a lot of romance. Heath and Ally do fall in love and there’s a romantic ending that I wouldn’t change for anything, it’s just that their relationship is also based on the physical chemistry they have. I personally love this sexier series because it doesn’t take away from the romance.
Narrator Robert Ashker Kraft does a great job bringing the edgier atmosphere to life, thanks to the way he reads the book I had no trouble envisioning scenes and falling into the story. Kraft also narrated the first book in the series and I found that having the same narrator was a bit comforting to me. I was already familiar with Kraft’s voice so there wasn’t any adjustment period and I could just jump into the story.
Final Verdict: Overall, the second book in the Wild Boys After Dark series was a fun, sexy read. I would have liked to know more about Heath and Ally but what I did know I liked. Also, I'm LOVING the new covers!! Yummy!
