I enjoyed the story and the narration. The protagonists are very likeable with real human issues and insecurities to work through. The insecurities added dimension to the development of the plot and allowed to main characters to support and save each other.

I read in reviews that this book can be a standalone. I agree and disagree at the same time. This book wasn't an easy listen type book because I was trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together the whole time I listened. I wasn't impressed with the narrator. I have heard worse, but she kind of ruined it for me.

"Audible, You've Mislabeled This Book ♥♥RECOMMEND♥♥"
♥This is book 2 in series Steele Securities.*** I have not read the first book so do not know if this review will contain spoilers from book one. Please refrain from reading this review unless/until you have read the first book. Thank you. It CAN be read as a Standalone.
Colton is at his "brothers" wedding reception, he is constantly scanning the room for threats because of the high status and style types of jobs that their firm takes on.
From the sidelines an uninvited guest is watching, watching every detail of what is going on. Soon we learn that it is a woman named Chay (Chaise.) She claims to be in big trouble and asks for Noah's (the bridegroom) help. She is terrified and disappointed when she finds out that he's already left for his two-week honeymoon. Colton aka Bulldog doesn't know what to make of her comments or her alleged knowledge of Noah, but he can see that she is terrified so he agrees to help her.
This was a fast, action-packed romance/thriller. I really enjoyed it and was not able to predict what might be around the corner for the characters. It is a great job and I will look for book number one and any others in the series.***
A.D. Justice has me hooked.
Amanda Leigh Cobb's performance was great, it was edgy but not distracting. As is my habit and preference, I sped the book up just a little bit. It did not affect the performance. The consistency and ability to perform a wide array of characters was very impressive. I give it a 4.5 star rating.
Notes: Mature themes, some strong language and violence (not graphic)
Stars overall 5, Performance 4.5 & Story 5 stars
I am very stingy with my stars, especially when given the book like this, *listening in exchange for my review – which is the case in this book. I feel that they were all earned and that anyone who enjoys this genre of romance with some good guys trying to take down some bad guys, will find it appealing as well.

"Great listen with one flaw"
I enjoyed the story. I enjoyed the narrator. It was a good listen. Still, there was one part of the story that did not ring true. Four Steele security men were together in a room, at least three of them aware of the danger Chaise was in, and all four of them let her walk out of the room into the unknown. Just killed me. In fact, I'm pretty sure I screamed. None of that made sense. Even with bruised feelings and misunderstandings, it was wrong for her to leave and wrong for the Steele security crew to let the go. Everything leading up to that and after is well worth your time.
The narration by Amanda Leigh Cobb was amazing. I thought this book was pretty good. If you can get past implausible storyline and one dimensional characters it is a sizzling read. The ending was rushed and came out of no where.
I was given this book in exchange for my honest review. So sweet. I couldn't stop listening.
"Narrator ruins book"
Seems like this would be a good series, I liked the characters and the story line. However I couldn't get into it, because the narrator ruined the males voices. Her southern accent for a male is just awful! If the author writes anymore in this series with another narrator, I will listen to it, otherwise no. We need someone like Sebastian York.

wonderful read i loved it
This story was filled with non stop action, mysteries. Raw chemistry, romance and forgiveness. Not to mention all the all hot sex scenes. The narrator did a great job.. I was provided this book by Audiobook Blast for unbiased, honest reviews.
I was pleasantly surprised that this could truly be read as a standalone novel. The author was good about quickly brining the new reader up to speed when needed but never so much that you aren't interested in going back and reading the previous book. Sometimes with audiobooks I find my mind drifting from the storyline but I was invested from the beginning. I never would have guessed the plot twist which made it so much more exciting when it happened! The characters were well developed and relatable which made me grab my headphones and listen more often than just my daily commute. Overall I really enjoyed this book!

"Delivers as Expected!"
I don’t usually read many books from this genre, but I really enjoyed this one. The narration brought the story to life and held my interest throughout. The story was well thought out, complete and will keep you listening. I will be watching for this author in the future.
