Summary
Verbally abused by her mother for years, 18-year-old Ellie Johnson always believed she would never be loved or wanted by anyone. She focused all of her attention on her grades and getting into the University of Texas to start a new life away from her mother. The last thing Ellie expected was to fall in love with Gunner Mathews, a starting linebacker for the University of Texas football team and not to mention, her brother's best friend. Gunner only has two passions in life, football and his grandfather's ranch, until he falls for his best friend's little sister. He will stop at nothing to show Ellie how much he wants her, even if it means he has to move faster than she would like. Gunner knows they are meant to be together forever, but Ellie keeps denying her feelings out of fear of being hurt again. Every time he gets close to winning her love, something pushes her away again. Will Ellie ever be able to let go of the past and let him into her heart and will Gunner be patient enough to wait for her?

Brilliant storyline, great narration, you are engaged and hooked from beginning to end

I loved them all, The emotions and actions were gripping and enticing

I liked them both, they both narrated well keeping the listener engaged

made me do both with the superb writing and narration

when books are narrated by both male and female narrators I would prefer the chapters to be mixed with the dialogue when the male and female characters are talking instead of one chapter with the male narrator and then one with the female

Great
I do love this book and read it countless times. listening to it on audiobook , although the narrators were fantastic I couldn't believe how many times the characters *threw their head back and laughed* it got a little tedious. other than that this book was fab!

Love this series
I have read this whole series of books several times. It’s one that i don’t get fed up of listening to. Although all the couples are great and I’ve enjoyed reading about them all, Ellie & Gunner are my favourites and have been from the start.

Teenage crap
Jesus, this is so bad I have no words... reached chapter 25 hoping it will get better but it's all silly teenage angst and boring conversation. No character building. and the female narration is so grating. Waste of time!!!
