This is Book 4 in The Chosen Series but it can be listened to as a stand alone title because it is Sean's story. For mature audiences 17+ only, please.
Sean Ford has loved Lizzie O'Malley all of his adult life. Now that he is in his 30s and a successful tattoo artist, he finds himself stuck in life. He should have... He could have... But he didn't. Kicking himself for letting Lizzie slip through his fingers, he has to pretend that life is just peachy. His favorite pastime is hiding out in his bedroom.
When Aoife Flanagan arrives in Boston to do an internship with college, she is glad to have escaped the dismal life she has back in Wicklow, Ireland. As a 23-year-old student and professional, she prefers staying in the corner at parties, hiding from everyone's attention, and sticking to the financial plan that her father outlined for her.
One confusing night...
One amazing summer...
Sean and Aoife may have been brought together by fate but to stay together means more than roses and butterflies. They must fight the world for one another. What separates them is one big ocean and one tiny question.

"Sean finally gets his story !!"
Yes I would. Out of all the books in this series Sean became one of my favorite characters.
I have not read any book similar to this.
Michael Lesley did a fantastic job narrating each character. His voice is strong and clear.
Oh yes I could not wait to listen to this story.
I would recommend this story. I would suggest starting with book 1 but this can be listened to as a stand alone. Fantastic Story !!
"I want a Sean in my life!!!"
I loved Sean! He was every woman's perfect best friend, and the perfect boyfriend. Very attentive, and supportive. He was loving and giving. He dropped everything for Lizzie including his scheduled karate class with Aoife.
Sean! He is perfect, he is flawed, but perfect. He goes out of his way for those he loves. When he loves, he loves hard.
I have never listened to one of Michael Lesley's performances before this...but I loved this one. I love the sound of his voice, he pulled off both the North Eastern accent, and an Irish accent, beautifully. I hope more of my favorite authors choose to go with Michael.
There were several, the one that sticks out the most is when Sean has the panic attack after fighting with Lizzie and Aoife in one day. It had me in tears.
I love Alisa Mullen's books, and as usual this one doesn't disappoint!
"Heart- breaking and real"
The voice, other than the story, obviously
When Sean realised how he felt and did something to fix the situation
The way his voice change and the accent
Definitely. The story was so beautiful
"Really loved it!"
I really enjoyed listening to this story unfold. The narrator's accent helped make this story more engaging for me. The author did a wonderful job conveying her story, characters and plot, and it was a wonderful book to get lost in.
