He hasn't forgotten her, and she sure hasn't forgiven him.
Jessica Macks is a she-wolf on the run from a band of murderous rogues. When she finds a job at a shifter bar, it seems like a safe haven from her hunted life on the road. But the minute she walks through the swinging doors of the Blue Moon Saloon and comes face-to-face with the man she once loved, she's tempted to march right back out. No way, no how is she risking her heart with that infuriating alpha bear again.
Simon Voss thought he lost everything in an ambush months before: his home, his family, his past. His new job at the Blue Moon Saloon is a desperately needed fresh start on life. Then along comes Jessica, the irresistible she-wolf his clan forced him to reject years before. When Simon is obliged to hire Jessica and work side by side with the one woman to ever make his bear go wild, he's half in heaven, half in hell. He hasn't forgotten her, and she sure as hell hasn't forgiven him. Is this just another path to heartbreak or his last chance to claim his destined mate?

Great series intro
Loved the fact that this is a spin off to the Twin Moon Ranch series.
I love Kelsey's voice. It really suits Anna Lowe's writing and I can hear her when I read it myself!
Sizzling hot, action packed with just the right amount of description that kept me hooked even though I read the books as well before.
Fun, witty characters
As my first audiobook, I had no idea what to expect. I will be honest in saying, I thought that the voices of the guys would be narrated by a guy. At first it was very strange to listen to a female 'trying' to sound like a guy. Once I was past that, the rest was smooth sailing. Both stories were enjoyable and the characters were fun to get to know. Each kind of quirky in their own way. It's great for fans of shifter romances!
Second chances at happily ever after. With a past better left in the past, Jessica Macks finds herself faced with a past she rather forget, Simon Voss. A wolf and a bear will never work out.
Love is blossoming but when it is with a human...Janna Macks is a wolf shifter who finds herself falling for sexy cowboy Cole Harper. But what happens when the unexpected occurs, Jenna wolf is crying out that Cole is her mate.
I voluntarily reviewed Twice in a Blue Moon as a gifted copy from the author.
She-wolf Jessica Macks and bear shifter Simon Voss has a past that left them both hurting and with a broken heart. But what will their future bring now that fate has brought them together again? You'll have to read the book to find out.
Wolf shifter Janna Macks and human Cole Harper have pack problems and rouges to over come to if they are to be together. Love this story. Love spunky Janna and sexy Cole.
Ms Lowe's characters are such fun to get to know. They are witty, strong, funny, brave and off the charts sexy. I highly recommend this and all her books.

"Love this series!!!"
Yes, I would. I enjoyed both stories, and the narrator did wonderful. Plus, I love shifters!!!
In the first book, Damnation, I loved how much Simon felt for Jessica. I love second chance romances, so Damnation was my favorite of the 2 books, but both books were great!
All of the romance scenes! Also, I love how badass Jessica and Janna are! They kicked some butt!
Yes, it definitely was!
The narrator was excellent! She had a wonderful tone to her voice, and I enjoyed the listening experience! Below is a review for each of the books individually beginning with the first in the series -
Loved this! Second chance romance with shifters, I'm all on board for that! Jessica and her sister, Janna, are starting new at the Blue Moon Saloon after their whole pack was wiped out by Rogue shifters. They are wolf shifters, and Jessica is very thankful to have found a place at the Blue Moon, but when she finds out her new boss is a past lover, she isn't too happy, but there isn't anywhere else for her and her sister to go, so Jessica is going to have to just deal with it. Jessica was deeply hurt by Simon when he broke things off with her without much explanation, and finds it difficult to be in his presence; especially since her wolf wants her mate, and Jessica is still affected by being near Simon. Simon is a bear shifter, and he can't believe it when Jessica walks into the Saloon; his bear growls mate and wants to make her his, but Simon hurt Jessica when he broke it off, so his bear is just going to have to wait. I love that there is POV's from both Jessica and Simon! Jessica is a strong and intelligent woman, and I really felt for her, when she lost her pack and when Simon turned her away. The romance is so sweet and wonderful, and Simon was adorable! I love that he rubs up on stuff! I know that sounds a bit weird, but it's a shifter story, so I think it fits. I love that he is a bit of a gruff bear, but his soft side comes out with Jessica. I also like that we get some action scenes, and I really enjoyed the writing! I also loved all the side characters, and I am super excited to read each of their books! This is a great shifter read, and I'm definitely looking forward to more from Anna Lowe!!
I'm really loving this series! In this book, we get Janna's story, who is Jessica's sister from the first book, and we get to see how Janna and Cole's story unfolds. You should read the first book in this series, or there will be some spoilers in this book for that book, and Janna and Cole are introduced in the first book, but I suppose it isn't completely necessary, but I think it adds to the enjoyment of this book; plus that book is awesome too! Janna and her sister have found a new home at the Blue Moon Saloon with the 2 were-bears, Simon and Soren, and Janna is feeling a strong attraction towards a regular at the Saloon. Cole is a sexy cowboy with something in his past that is eating away at him, and on top of that, he is starting to feel and hear strange things, and his feelings for Janna have turned animalistic. Janna's wolf is also feeling animalistic towards Cole, but she doesn't understand it because Cole is human, and on top of her wolf acting weird, there is the threat of the Rogues. The Rogues don't believe in mixing shifters, and they definitely don't want shifters and humans mixing. First off, I enjoyed the chemistry between Cole and Janna, and I found Cole to be adorable. I like Janna too, but I definitely think she should have made it more of a priority to talk with Cole; that made me think of her as a bit more ditzy then I had thought previously, so I was a bit disappointed in that, but for the most part, I liked her. The story is interesting, and I liked the flow of the story. I'm excited to read the next book in the series, even if I don't really like the premise; I wanted more for Soren, so I'm disappointed with what I know so far, but since I loved the first 2 books and enjoy Anna Lowe's writing, I'm giving it a chance. Plus, I'm very interested in Soren! Looking forward to more of him, and more of the main couples from books 1 and 2!
"Two great stories in one download"
Damnation is Jessica's story. Jessica and her sister have been on the run. They don't know who they can trust and they aren't the same girls they used to be. Simon and his brother Soren have restarted their lives when they come face to face with Jessica and Janna again. Damnation was an excellent title as it described the bad shifters but it was the hell that Jessica and Simon where living through just to survive. The start of the story revolved around the pain of Jessica and her sister. But all the sudden before you knew it, Simon was opened up to us and his pain was revealed. What he had to go through even before he left to go east. What he buried in his heart. Damnation: Reckless Desires took the listener on a complete journey in order to find Jessica and Simon "home."
Temptation is Janna's story. Janna was the happy go lucky sister. Or at least that's the way she wanted everyone to think. I loved how she tried to protect everyone and not worry anyone. It was easy to tell that Janna was still learning what it was to depend on others and find strength in that support. When she probably should have asked for help she waited afraid of the consequences. Cole was lucky that she was strong spirited as he was going nuts. You couldn't help but to love and feel for Cole. He had all of these issues that he wanted to drown in whiskey but then there was Janna and new issues. You've got to get to the bull scene as it just pulls all of the strings for Janna & Cole. It was amazing. While there is more trouble brewing, Janna & Cole work on finding each other and their future.
I found a new narrator to follow. This series was the first I had listened to Kelsey Osborne. She was animated and told the story in all the right places, whether it was characters speaking or thinking, or setting a scene, she was able to evoke the emotions of the story that Anna Lowe had written. There were several places where I found myself emotionally invested in the story to the point of being choked up or teary eyed. Every character and narration feels like it has life and animation, as if you are there. A well chosen narrator for this series.
Ms. Lowe did well in weaving her spell with these stories and then choosing Ms. Osborne to cast it. I can't wait for the next stories to listen to in the series.
"A fantastic way to jump into this series."
If you have not picked up this series do yourself a favour and get this brilliant starter deal. Box sets are a great way to keep a series together for easy access.
Two really gripping stories that hold your attention till the end.
I have posted reviews for the books so read them for more feedback but you cannot go wrong with this author.
I am slowly coming around to the narration side of audible books and find that I listen to the story now more than the narrator so that is good.
"wonderful writing, narrator, addictive series"
I bought the books and recieved this audio for an honest review. while I enjoyed the books on thier own, I was spellbound with the 2 together, no waiting or searching for the followup story. I fell in love with Simon and Jessica and was swept up with the emotion . The battle to get beyond the past, especially with the constant fear of the Blue Bloods. They overcome and reunite but the Blue Bloods still stand. Now we go to Janna and Cole. A wolf with a human ? The Blue Bloods will NOT allow that. We get to know and love our Cowboy and why he is so broken. There are some pretty intense scenes here, you feel the pain the guilt, the frustration and the love. A few times I had to stop for a little on order to catch my breath. In the end our couple reach other but still the Blue Bloods are still a threat. Can't wait for Redemption to be on audio. I have the book, but I love listening when I am working out or cleaning house. The narrator put a spin with her in fluctuations brings a new point to the story line. Get you copy and join in this wonderful make shift family and most of all enjoy.
Loved this audio! The stories are excellent and the characters are relatable and you really want to know what happens next. Steamy in some parts, sweet in others. Plenty of action and a good dose of sass and humor. If you love shifter romances don't miss this one!
l have and love the books but to have someone read it to me while I was driving was awesome. Thank you for the gift! I loved every moment of it. I already love the story and the narrator did a fabulous job of pulling me into the action.
"Love this Series!"
Review Book 1:
"Great start to the series!"
Overall: 4 Stars
Performance: 4 Stars
Story: 4 Stars
Q: Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
A: Yes, it's fun, flirty and even has a bar fight. I enjoyed the flow of the story and how the author filled in the backstory while telling the current story. I enjoyed the back and forth chatter between wolf and human. It showed while the two were one, that human and animal see the world differently.
Q: What did you like best about this story?
A: I totally loved the humor which was sprinkled liberally throughout the story.I loved how the girls practically took over running the saloon. They're brainstorming session was freaking hilarious.
Q: Which scene was your favorite?
A: I loved it when Simon realized Jessica was selling his muffins.
"Muffins? She was selling his muffins?
"Giving my muffins away, he nearly said"
Q: If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
A: I have no idea. Sorry.
Q: Any additional comments?
A: My only turn off in the story is taking the Lord's name in vain. I have little problem with other swearing, but that always makes me wince and jars me out of the story. That said, the cursing is not over the top and fits the moments it's used.
While I enjoyed the narrator, Kelsey Osborne, I kind of wish she had a bit more definition in the male voices. That said, I'm looking forward to listing to the next one.
Review of Book 2:
"Loving this series!"
Overall: 5 Stars
Performance: 4 Stars
Story: 5 Stars
Q: Would you listen to Temptation: Reckless Desires again? Why?
A: Totally. It's a great story and my favorite of the series so far. I loved the interaction between the main characters and their wolves. Plus, there was lots of humor.
Q: Who was your favorite character and why?
A: I am totally in love with Cole. He was so sweet and lovable. I loved how he dealt with the changes that were happening to him.
I also loved the wolves voices inside Janna and Cole's heads.
Q: Which scene was your favorite?
A: Hmmm, it's hard to say that without spoiling the story. I loved the scene with the Cole, Janna, and the bull.
Q: Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
A: Totally...and I did just that last night.
Q: Any additional comments?
A: I have to say the narrator, Kelsey Osborne, impressed me much more with this book. The male voices were much better this time.
