In one cataclysmic moment, millions around the globe disappear during "the rapture". Those left behind are destined to face war, famine, plagues, and natural disasters so devastating that only one in four people will survive. Odds are even worse for enemies of the Antichrist and his new world order. Rayford Steele, Buck Williams, Bruce Barnes, and Chloe Steele band together to form the Tribulation Force. Their task is clear, and their goal is nothing less than to stand and fight the enemies of God during the seven most chaotic years the planet will ever see.

"Great book bad narrator"
I would only recommend the one read by Richard Ferrone. NOT JACK SONDERRICKER.
The story, It is straight from Revalations.
Anybody. Some of the Jewish accents he does you cant even understand what he is saying.
The one read by Richard Ferrone yes.
If you search the name of the book there are 3 that come up. A dramatized one, Sonderricker and then Ferrone. Purchase Ferrone.
Love this series. However the Sound quality and Narrator are terrible. The guy reading ruins the story.
No, terrible narrator
"jack sondericker as reader"
Great story overall but the narrator is horrible too much background noise i.e. turning pages ,writing and/or scribbling and just all around general background noise........ It's driving me crazy
"Good story, terrible audio"
This review covers "Left Behind" and "Tribulation Force" as narrated by Jack Sondericker.
I am so disappointed with the audio quality of this recording. It sounds like it was recorded straight off of a cassette which had been wound tightly for a long time. The audio is full of echoes and pre-echoes from where the cassette tape had experienced bleed-through. If you listen through earphones as I do, it's extremely distracting.
Additionally, there is a ton of background noise. Furious pencil-scratching sounds, bangs and clanks...and I'm almost certain I heard a toilet flush at one point.
All of that I could have tolerated, and in fact DID tolerate through Left Behind and much of Tribulation Force.
But then Rabbi Ben-Zion became a major figure, and his badly-done "Hebrew accent" is more than I can stand. If I were Jewish, I'd be insulted. It's one thing to be unable to master an accent, but it's another to make it sound as if the person is channeling a mixture of Donald Duck and Ludwig Von Drake.
I will be returning this series for a refund, but since I love the story itself, I will try again with a different narrator.
Enjoyed immensley, a must for any Non Christian to listen to, so they will understand and realize they need to be prepared for the Rapture and Eternity!
"I Hope Rabbi Ben Judah is not in subsequent books."
The jewish accents are very bad. Hard to understand. But in general the reading of the story is not good. Particularly hate the way Chloe is narrated. Buck doesn't sound like a world class journalist, more like a rube. Nicolae sounds light in the loafers. It takes away from the book for sure.
"Great book and narrator"
This narrator is excellent! He has different voices for each character and it's amazing! I have read the book, but having this narrator read it was even better!
I am truly enjoying the Left Behind series. If it doesn't make you think religiously, it's still a good story.
The narration is a little "whistling" in pronunciation of "s" which is sometimes distracting.
"great book, highly recommend entire series"
the series is great, I highly recommend if you are interested in end of time prophecy
"Solid plot, read a little too dramatically"
Solid plot, read a little too dramatically, specially the female voices being dramatized by Sondericker. He's got a good reading voice, and most fiction books will be read in a way to help the listener know which character is speaking by changing voices slightly but I think it's a bit much.
