Battered, barefoot, and huddled under a bookstore awning in the pouring rain, Blue only knows one thing. After 15 months of captivity, finally she is free.
Self-made millionaires JD and Ark are not out to save anyone when they stumble upon a wet and shivering girl one early Sunday morning. But when you sell sex for a living and salvation rings your bell, you answer the call.
After years of searching, love lifts the veil of darkness, and three people - with three very big secrets - find themselves bound together in a relationship that defies the odds. Or does it? Love. Lust. Sex. This trinity might be perfection but not everything should come in threes.

"If you're looking for something mind blowing, dark, mysterious and panty-dropping-hot, Three, Two, One (321) should be your next read!" (Christy Baldwin, Bookbabes Unite Book Blog, Goodreads #2 Best Reviewers)
It has NO comparison to anything I had ever read or heard before.
After a couple of sleepless nights listening to both Sebastian York and Ava Erickson completely bring this story to life, I was desperate to reach the unexpected finale. I knew it wasn't going to be all fluffy clouds and pink unicorns but I was totally blown away!
This story is like nothing I have ever come across before, and I am delighted to have download it.
Sebastian and Eva were born to play this story. The narration was flawless, and it had so much energy, passion and conviction that for a moment you forget is all fiction. Both actors had to play the 3rd character and it never waver or faltered, momentum carried on till the last breath was spoken.
YES YES OMG YES.
The story takes the listener into a journey of, deceit, lust, passion, sex, lies and ultimately love. But how can Love exist when it's based on lies?
From the moment Blue comes into the picture you realise this is going to be a very heavy and painful portrayal. Having been a prisoner for so long and experienced what can only be described as hell, she is finally free. But one thing is to be free from the ordeal, another is to be free from all the demons which have now taken residence in your body and your soul. Its almost like one of those movies where a person gets abducted and comes back seemingly normal but it is harbouring some evil specie which is slowly taken over ready to pounce and kill. It was like that for me, I was an spectator to this beautiful yet cataclysmic situation.
Blue literally stumbles upon Ark and JD, two men who contrary to their looks and personality have a unique bond. Ark "sees her first" and he is quick to understand that something is very wrong, JD not far behind may have "seen her after", but he is drawn to her immediately. Blue "sees them both" and can't help but feel safe for the first time in a very long time.
Lines are crossed, confessions are made, truths are hidden.
I really liked the characters and the basis for the story, although we don't want to admit these lifestyles exist - they do and people profit from them.
The sex scenes were pure porn and well written but did not overpower the story behind the characters . Great back story, I'd figure where it was going with Ark, however the ending did surprise me.
Wow. I had no idea what I was getting myself into reading this book. I don't think I've ever read a threesome book, and this was definitely a threesome book. Not only was it about the sex, it was quite a dark, gritty, suspense. I had no idea who to trust. I don't think either Blue, Ark or JD knew who to trust. Secrets and lies are definitely at the forefront of this love triangle, and it was a love triangle, I truly believed they were all in love. There were so many twists and turns in this book, and nothing became clear until the very last chapter. Is a standalone story told in Dual POV, suspense to the end. I loved it. Sebastian York was perfect as usual.
I have read Mills & Boon since I was 18 and now in My 50s I'm breaching out with the help of Audible. Audio books are a blessing I'm blind
OMG this book made me laugh and cry.
It sounds dirty but hold in there if you're not in to that. It's a really beautiful ugly love story.
I love Sebastian York's voice. I have a few books narrated by him.
This is the first time I've heard Ava Erickson read. I will be looking for more books narrated by her
Thank you J A Huss for a truly wonderful story
OMG WHAT A GREAT AUDIOBOOK
3 loveable characters 2 good to stop listening 1 jaw dropping ending. Loved the actors voices they were spot on.loved this would highly recommend
I have read the book, several times, but listening made it come to life.
The 2 narrators really bring the characters off the page in their dark n dirty way, but also makes you feel the love in this story.
J A Huss really takes the time to find the right voices for her books, and she got it spot on again in this one
But be warned, you need your earphones, this is not a book to be sharing with the office or family!!!!
"5+ stars! Absolutely loooooooved this audio"
Wow I don't even know what to say right now. I'm in shock I think. Shock and mourning. Shock that it was so incredible and totally mourning the fact that it's over. Great story with deep Characters, amazingly hot sex, mystery, and more, all while pulling on major heart strings. I can't even pick my favorite thing about this book as I loved the whole package. Wonderful job JA Huss, and you picked perfect narrators. Major kudos! Thanks for the bonus too 😉
"321 is steamy hot!"
The narrators brought the book to life and if you thought reading it was steamy, hearing it was way more intense!
The one scene with Blue, Ark and JD - can't tell you more than that without giving away the scene.
Ark and Blue
This book is so full of suspense and lust the combination keeps you on the edge of your seat!
"Wild Steamy Journey"
Intense, Raw, Gripping
I loved Blue. She is delicate and fragile yet incredibly resilient and strong.
Sebastian York's interpretation of Ark is excellent.
Yes and no--
Yes, in terms of the riveting story, and no because I am not sure that my heart could take the increasing intensity of the plot tension and foreboding.
After having read the teasers for J.A. Huss’ Three, Two, One, I was surprised at the beginning of the novel. I had to re-listen to the first bit to get my head in the right place and let go of my presumptions. Then it hit me. Rethinking the teasers and page one, I internally screamed, “Noooooooo”!
J.A. Huss has done it again; I took her bait, and she reeled me in like a catfish for a Friday night fry-up.
Ms. Huss has written another fabulously suspenseful erotic novel. I couldn’t put it down, and I didn’t want to finish it. I knew before I got to the end that I would be re-reading this book in order to soak up all the little details that I undoubtedly missed in my anxiousness to learn what happened to Ark, J.D. and Blue. J.A. Huss has an uncanny ability to build in just the right amount of tension in her stories to produce the effect of a pot that is perpetually on the verge of boiling. The reader knows there is something bigger just under the surface, but no one is privy to what that something bigger is. The characters hold secrets close to the vest and the reader only knows what the characters share with one another. Just about the time the reader is ready to start chewing finger nails, the story explosively culminates like a pressure cooker blowing its lid.
Throughout the story, details of the main characters, Ark, J.D. and Blue are slowly leaked out as they get to know one another better. It is a little frustrating, but good things come to those who wait. The secondary characters are not overly developed, but they're understandable and serve their purpose as antagonists, foils and supportive protagonists. The line between good guy and bad guy/sinner and saint was hazy at times and that added to the mystique of that underlying “something bigger” and made me question who were the true protagonists in the story.
The book starts in present day and then jumps back to the main characters’ first meeting. Based on the first page, I thought the story would be told only from one character’s point of view, however, the story is told by both Ark and Blue. I found it very interesting that although the story has three main characters, the multi-POV story didn’t include all the main characters’ perspectives. The exclusion of J.D.’s POV was a brilliant decision that greatly benefitted the story tension and mystery. Three, Two, One includes interesting commentary on society, truth and redemption.
I would love to go into more detail of the quotes I enjoyed or plot points that I didn’t like, but this is a story best appreciated when starting the story knowing nothing about the plot (so avoid reviews with spoilers). In the end, all is revealed. Nothing about the ending resembled my presumptions based on the teasers or the first page of the book, however, it was a very, very satisfying ending after a very wild and steamy journey.
NC-17 content. Not suitable for readers with heart conditions or delicate sensibilities. Perfect for andrenalyne junkies or fans of intense suspense and erotica.
"Sexy, Twisted, Brilliance brought to life"
Listening to this story ( That I already love) brought it to life for me.
It is in a class by itself. I would not compare it to any other book out there. The story is phenomenal.
The depth of emotion really brought the story to life.
Yes and I could not stop listening.
Love this book already and the addition of audible is amazing the narrators were amazing!
"Hot and complex"
Yes! the narrators completely nailed this story. They managed to have the perfect pace for it, and they made a story I already loved even better.
I don't think I've read any other books that compare to Three, Two, One
They brought a lot of feeling into their narration, and both everything that was made of hot and all the feelings were portrayed so well by both of them.
Hot and complex, with so much more than meet the eyes.
Three, Two, One has to be one of the most twisted, hot and complex stories I have ever read! Huss completely outdid herself – again!
Twisted doesn’t even begin to describe the relationships, the storyline, the characters and the plot in this masterpiece. And a masterpiece, it is. Very dark, uncomfortable at times, extremely hot other times, and with a relationship that is anything but conventional. The suspense is well done, and the story is character-driven, even while the characters are lying both to themselves and each other.
I had already read Three, Two, One when it was first released, and I have to say that listening to this story was even better! The narrators totally nailed it - the pace was perfect, and I have to admit I blushed in places...
"Love the narrators, storyline, and characters!"
5 Crazy Ass Must Listen Stars!!!!!
Let me start off by saying that I loved the narrators. They both brought the story to life and had me entranced in the story. I just love Sebastian York. He's my favorite and I don't hesitate in the least when buying an audiobook with his name attached to it.
J.A. Huss did a brilliant job with this story giving a fresh storyline in a world of copycat storylines. It really helped pull me further out of this book funk I've been in lately.
I have heard about "the guy" that this storyline is based on and often thought that the subject would make for a great plot. This surpassed anything my imagination could ever conjure up. It was surprising, suspensful, hot, and so much more than I'll ever be able to give it the proper praise it deserves.
This will be a Crazy Ass Must Listen Spotlight on Crazy Daisy Book Whore.
This wasn't what I am used to from J.K., but wow was it HOT! MWM. Love the bit of male interaction. So good great listen!
"You've never read one like this....."
amazing, suspenseful, hot
How about everything! JA Huss has a gift to weave a story that you never know where or when it will take a turn and yet it's always the very best in the end.
They both did a great job giving these characters voices. You can almost feel like your in the room with them.
Several actually, when they first bring Blue home and she says "I can't feel safe unless I'm surrounded..." Later as Ark is trying to figure it all out after the video shoot, "That seals the deal, we're not one, not two, we're three....." and of course the ending, but I can't give that away.... :)
This is so worth the price, it will suck you in and keep you enthralled until the very last.
"A Part of My Soul"
I read the book 4 times and having now listened to the incredible Sebastion York and Ava Erickson narrate it, I can say hands down this always be my favorite story. Nothing can trump the feelings the audible version evoked. I knew these characters intimately before. Hearing their words spoken Ark, JD and Blue are in my soul now. The story came to life and I could sense the longing, conflict, lust, love and desire. I understood them and got more information that was hidden by hearing them speak. My heart beat faster with every chapter. The sensuality, heat and true eroticism came through in ways that you felt part of the scene.Julie Huss is a master storyteller and bringing it to life in this manner is a mind blowing experience.
