From the number one bestselling author of The One You Really Want comes a poignant romantic novel about a young woman whose time is running out. Not to be missed by readers of Jojo Moyes and Erica James.
Jill Mansell's enchanting new novel will drive readers to seize life with both hands and make the most of every minute...
Hallie has a secret. She's in love. He's perfect for her in every way, but he's seriously out of bounds. And her friends aren't going to help her because what they do know is that Hallie doesn't have long to live. Time is running out...
Flo has a dilemma. She really likes Zander. But his scary sister won't be even faintly amused if she thinks Zander and Flo are becoming friends - let alone anything more.
Tasha has a problem. Her new boyfriend is the adventurous type. And she's afraid one of his adventures will go badly wrong.
Three Amazing Things About You begins as Hallie goes on a journey. A donor has been found and she's about to be given new lungs. But whose?

I'm a freelance opera singer and teacher of singing. I love to read Thrillers, Chick lit General/contemporary & Children's books.
Definitely very near the top. There was no dull moment.
Three amazing things about you is a powerful story beautifully written to inform, enlighten and entertain. The writer chose a light hearted naration style to prevent us from getting overwhelmed by the subject matter, and the lighter aspects of the story creates a realistic balance between the huge events occurring.
I'm afraid annoying though she was, Lina was my favourite character as performed by Karen Cass.
Not necessarily as the issues being addressed were about life and death and I wanted to delay what I had thought was inevitable. In saying that, there were many nail biting moments in the book.
Karen Cass is one of my favourite actors to listen to. Her lively and friendly tone helps the listener keep things in perspective. She always has a way of reading which makes the listener feel like they're just having a friendly chat with a rather interesting person.
I bought the audio version and the kindle version so literally didn't put it down from start to finish. I got so engrossed in the lives of the 3 main characters that I really didn't see what was coming. I have been a Jill Mansell fan for many years and this is one of the very best.
A fantastic story, the usual romance with the power behind it, none of us know what the future holds and this book reminds us to live life to the full.
"You know you’ve read a good book when you turn the last page and feel a little as if you have lost a friend."
I am quite particular about narration and initially didn't enjoy the narration of this book at all and considered giving up on the book. I found that the voices and accents the narrator used didn't work for the characters as I imagined them and she wasn't great at regional accents (the Brummy who inexplicably turned Scouse was a particular low point).
I decided to persevere and in the end I enjoyed the story very much and was quite moved as it reached its climax. Reminded me a bit of Jojo Moyes' books in theme.
I loved this. I have read lots of Jill Mansel before but never on audible. The book didn't disappoint and the reader was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend this book
Finally a book us cystic fibrosis people can listen to that isn't so dwelling and depressive of cystic fibrosis and life and can be fun to listen to in parts
Retired Psychologist Love reading/audiobooks, travelling, animals Favourite saying The fact that you believe something does not make it true
Probably for those who like books about cup cake cafes and small hotels with tall, dark strangers.
I quickly got bored. All fluff and little substance. Returned.
"Always a great story"
Jill can always tell a story that's not all sunshine and roses, but is very insightful and poignant. This book hits very close to home as my father was an organ donor and I have often wondered about the other families.
"Three Amazing Things About You"
I really enjoyed this story and it was very easy to listen to. I found parts of the story very predictable but it was still great.
The characters in the story were great and I missed them when the book was finished.
I love Jill Mansell books and always look forward to the next one being released
I love the way the Author weaves each event and life experiences, intertwining the lives of these strangers until they become unified by a single quilted event.
Very suspenseful, I keep formulating and discarding how the story would unfold to prevent it being a total tragedy for someone.
It all worked out and came beautifully together with a reminder to live and cherish today as a gift in itself. Also, in giving you also receive.
The conclusion is very inspiring and really warmed my heart.
I would recommend the story to any of my friends despite there varied tastes, because there is a message there for us all to live by.
Excellent narration from Karen Cass.
There were a lot players, and each voice was distinctive and suited to the personality portrayed.
Thank you for helping me to wile away a very rainy weekend.
"Hits all your emotions"
Great story, talented reader, wonderfully crafted characters, unique situations, interesting story lines-I loved it! It definitely hit home with me because I have friends who have waited for solutions to health problems. Some have made it and some did not, so it rang true to me.
"Fantastic, so moving"
What a lovely story beautifully written and performed with elegance and passion. A lovely experience
A lovely story that handles a difficult subject well. Heart warming and touching all in one, with out being disrespectful
Interesting storyline and likeable characters, a touching account of very emotional issue. I really enjoyed it and would highly recommend it.
Jill Mansell has quickly become one of my new favorite writers. I have dutifully read three of her books in just the last week and I can't say enough about how wonderful they were. All very uplifting and each uniquely dealing with different issues that real people deal with making them truly relatable. Her characters are so fun, quirky, funny and simply lovable. In this particular book (her latest just published in January of this year) we have three separate stories that converge as a result of two very opposing forces - love and tragedy. Mansell does a great job highlighting the importance of being an organ donor by giving the reader an opportunity to see the impacts to all who are involved in the process of organ donation and how it impacts each of their lives uniquely. This book reminded me of how I felt when I read JoJo Moyes Me Before You. There is always a bright side even to the darkest moments. Tragedy although sad can lead to a very positive and happy result over time. I can't recommend this book enough. It was thoroughly enjoyable.
"Love, love, love!"
I really enjoyed listening to this book! Was one one the best I've listened to in a long time.
I loved when all the donor recipients and families meet.
