Imagine being married for 28 years with three children, a lovely house and a husband who travels a lot - but you still love each other. Or: imagine being happily married for 17 years. You have one daughter and your husband travels a lot.
One day you get a call that turns your world upside down: your husband is dead. You go to the funeral...and meet his other widow...

The performances by the narrators were all that made me stick with it.
I did not like any of the characters and the story was very far fetched!
This starts off pretty well and initially I was drawn into the lives of the two wives and their families. The two narrators do an excellent job and the way the narration moves between the two families keeps the plot moving and kept me interested. However, by about half way through I lost interest, the plot and characters become stereotypical and I realised that I cared little for any of them.
characters really come to life in this dramatic story... wasn't sure how they would keep the story going.. but they did and kept me gripped to the end :-)
