Rosamund Amberly is overjoyed. And soon, she's certain, she'll start feeling the emotion.
Rosamund prides herself on her matchmaking skills. After meeting Marcus Worthing, Earl of Somerville and her older sister's childhood best friend, she knows she's found the perfect fiancé...for her reclusive sister.
Unfortunately, she's spending far too much time thinking about the man.

"A matchmaking sister."
The characters were very likeable, the sisters, Rosamund and Fiona, looked out for each other. Marcus, too, had his positive points. There were good descriptions of the countryside. The story progressed at a good pace.
Rosamund, she always put others first, even when disappointing prospective suitors she tried to find them other matches. She was very caring of her sister, although she didn't always think about what others might want for themselves.
Rosamund, as she featured the most, so had the most to say and the list action.
Yes, I did have a chuckle at Sir Seymour and his outbursts during the play.
I thought Rosalyn used her different voices for the various characters to good effect, changing pitch and accent as required. I always like to hear a British accent when the story is set in England. This is a sweet romance, only a few kisses. The length of the audiobook was ideal if you just had an a couple of hours free.
"Delightful to be able to listen and read along"
Not better but equally good
Nice short read but I have nothing to compare it to.
I liked the different voice inflections.
The ending chapter
I both read and listened to the audible edition of this delightful novella prequel to Matchmaking for Wallflowers series.
It is a humorous and intriguing tale of a young lady bent on matchmaking for those around her. She never fathoms that she could possibly fall for a man she meant for another.
The characterization and storyline in this short novella are well done.
I would give it 4.5 of 5 stars for character development and storyline and in the case of the audio book 4 of 5 stars for narration.
I thoroughly enjoyed it being read to me in such a delightful way as I read along with the narration.
This is a clean sweet story so there is no sensuality rating.
"the perfect fiancee "
only brilliant and fantastic narration of Roslyn Landor kept me listening to this cliche story. this book is for 13 years old lovesick teens.
