Summary
It's 1925, and Patricia, Tara and Aideen couldn't be more excited to be starting a new life in Liverpool. Yet it soon becomes clear that all is not as it seems, for the girls are hastily swept onto a huge ocean liner heading to New York. When their father vanishes midway across the Atlantic, the grieving sisters prepare themselves for a new life in the big city. A little disappointing.
Story starts great and has some good highlights but not as good in second half plus ends very abruptly. A bit disappointing and not as good as other Maureen Lee books.

The Reader I thought was excellent
The story line was great. Nice characters, Not too many people in the story, easy to “get to know them” Interesting parts of the world involved.

What a beautiful story
Yes it had its ups & downs but the story of this family was so amazing, I was a bit surprised by the end with Adeen, but can't say anymore. The characters of this ever growing Kelly family were up to all sorts. I have to wonder if Noreen ever knew any people just like this. So we'll written & narrated. Thank You.

Family love
I loved this book a really great listen.the coming and goings of the sisters as each of their stories develops but always the pull and love of family brings them and their dodgy Daddy back together.Highly recommended.
