Summary
In a remote Sicilian mountain town, four women arrive at a cookery school, each at a turning point in their lives.
Moll is a foodie and an exhausted working mum on the holiday of a lifetime. Tricia, a top London lawyer, is taking a break from the demands of her job and her family. Valerie, consumed by grief following the death of her partner, is trying to figure out how to live a life without him. And recently divorced Poppy has come to Sicily to learn about the place where her grandfather was born before emigrating to Australia.
Luca Amore runs the school, using the recipes passed down to him by generations of Amore women. He expects this course to be much like all the others - but as sparks fly, friendships are made and secrets are shared. And for each of them, nothing will ever be the same.

Smell the coffee. A nice summer read.
I'm a fan of Nicky Pellegrino and she hasn't disappointed me with this book. A lovely story of four women who travel to Italy for a cookery school vacation. Each of them, in their own right, have their reasons for being there. Some sad, some freeing, some life changing. If you want an easy to listen to girlie 'read', this will do the trick. You can smell the food as you listen to the recipes being created.

Sweet book
ITS a nice book and the narrator is quite ok. However, the English thing of trying to add an accent to non-English characters when they can't pronounce a rolling "r" or any version of an "e" other than an English one ends up sounding silly and a bit annoying.

Perfect for a Duvet Day
Aww, this was the perfect book for me when I simply felt like curling up on my couch with a cup of hot chocolate. It's not just a simple feel good romantic novel, it inspires the love of food and life!! It reminds one to enjoy each different page of our life, to be in the moment and smell the roses. It reminds you to accept others as they are and seek the good in everyone. I really loved this book as it delivered on all my expectations including informing me of new geographical and historical facts and resparking my love for soul food, be it Italian, Greek or Indian; a fresh reminder of how food brings people and often love together.

Girly story for food lovers
Not a lot of depth but entertaining enough. Good background info on the culinary side.
Not sure about the accents and age groups of the characters.

didn't like characters or narrator
I love Pellegrino books but just not this one. I found the characters a bit toxic and the Italian accent of the narrator was rather distracting!! (sounded wrong)
