"Light but entertaining romances."
Three books in one - a good bargain by my thinking. Older but good books from Julie Garwood featuring the Claybornes. Diverse, fun characters and Garwood's humorous telling of their stories promise to keep you entertained.
"3 Short stories"
Each story seemed to start slow but by the time the ending came I was well into the story. I was glad they were short stories and as usual with Julie Garwood the stories were well written and entertaining.
The narration made me feel as if I knew the personalities of each character. Love!
"enjoyable set of short stories"
These three short stories are fun, really need to listen to the first book in the series before listening to these. Otherwise you miss many of the details and don't understand the story line. I did miss the development of the characters that was present in the first one. But worth the listen and a good continuation of the series.
"My ears are bleeding. Couldn't finish it."
After two hours, I had to turn it off. The voices of the brothers sound like they are all highly effeminate and unrealistic. It is just not the Julie I am accustomed to having started with her Highland series'. Too long, not the best choice for narration and I couldn't get through it. Just painful.
Very good series, easy to read and relax to after work. The entire set about the Csybornes is very entertaining
"love the roses"
Get set of short stories that tie together. These all have a mystery I them . Highly recommended.
"Great follow up to For the Roses"
Garwood at her best. I love Adam's tale the best. He is the perfect hero. I wish we could hear more about his children in Garwood's present day work.
