"Easy Listen, lovely to catch up with Rosie."

I love these stories. They are easy to listen to. Predictable but at the same time just lovely to get lost in. This book had me going through all the emotions. Definitely worth a listen.

"Another fantastic book for Jenny Colgan"
Would you consider the audio edition of The Christmas Surprise to be better than the print version?

I love each version of this book for different reasons. i love the print to read at my own speed, and to have the feel of a book but this audiobook was fantastic. i even sat in my car an extra 25 mins just because i wanted to know what happened next. It is a great follow on from the first two books and i feel that i know these characters now and love them.

What did you like best about this story?

i don't want to spoil it for others but the who story is great.

What does Lucy Price-Lewis bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

As she has voiced the previous books to i feel that she really brings the people to life. Her different voices for characters just fit to my imagination.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Again no spoilers but the book made me laugh, and cry in parts and there was a lot of love felt.

    "Disappointing"
Would you try another book written by Jenny Colgan or narrated by Lucy Price-Lewis?

    Possibly

Would you ever listen to anything by Jenny Colgan again?

    Possibly

What aspect of Lucy Price-Lewis’s performance might you have changed?

the lead female sounded too twee

What character would you cut from The Christmas Surprise?

    n/a

    Any additional comments?

This book was not my cup of tea, being very much based on having kids - didn't feel it made sense to listen without having listened to the others in series. Probably ok if you had.
