Summary
Having known billionaire Edward Kinkade ever since she was young, up-and-coming attorney Nevaeh always felt comfortable around him.

A quick modern romance
This bite size romance, while not the best I have ever heard, is a satisfactory modern romance. The characters deal with some real issues and manage to work their way through some challenging decisions before their HEA. If you are looking for a quick novella, this will work for you. But if you want something meaty and deep, this story does not have the length to provide that level of density.

An emotional listen
Neveah and Edward first at law school, they were close friends until a misunderstanding drove them apart. They meet again on aposing sides of a custody case. The attraction between them is still there but can they talk to each other and resolve their issues or let pride get in their way.
This is an emotional read with great characters.
The narration is perfect.
