Summary
The first time I met Brody Easton was in the men's locker room. It was my first interview as a professional sportscaster. The famed quarterback decided to bare all. And by all, I don't mean he told me any of his secrets. No. The arrogant ass decided to drop his towel just as I asked the first question. On camera.
The Super Bowl MVP quickly adopted a new hobby: screwing with me. When I pushed back, he shifted from wanting to screw with me to wanting to screw me. But I don't date players. And it's not because I'm one of the few women working in the world of professional football. I'd date an athlete. It's the other kind of player I don't date. You know the type. Good looking, strong, cocky, always looking to get laid.
Brody Easton was the ultimate player. Every woman wanted to be the one to change him. But the truth was, all he needed was a girl worth changing for. Turned out I was that girl. Simple, right? Let's face it. It never is.
There's a story between once upon a time and happily ever after...and this one is ours.

Great story
I loved the story and it kept me entertained almost all the way, BUT the male voice is ALL WRONG!
The story tells about a deep voice and manly man, but his narrative is by a quite squeaky light voice...
Made me hate his side of the story.

Loved this book
The characterisation was great, I loved most of the participants. The storyline was good but it was the developing relationship between the h/h that was the best.
Al!so the narrator's were excellent.
I really enjoyed it

Good story gripping
Mackenzie has a lovely voice and was very suited to the character. Sean voice sounds like an old man and spoiled the story.
Loved the story twists and turns wanted more.

funny in parts
I've read Vi keeland before and overall like her books. i really enjoyed this up until they put willows point of view in. it lost itself flow. I'm on chapter 24 and really struggling to finish. I don't think half way through a book adding a side characters point of view is going to interest anyone. The male narrator doesn't fit the character. overall so far okay. Not sure if I'll finish it though.

Narrators make or break the audiobook
I have read Vi Keeland's books before and always enjoyed them so I went into this book with high hopes. The story did not disappoint but, unfortunately, the male narrator did.
The Baller was a very typical Vi Keeland book where the story is cute, there are some hardships on the way to the MCs happiness and there is some spice but overall, the book is very PG. Both MCs were likable and I especially loved Easton's cocky demeanor!
The female narrator has narrated some other books that I have listened to and I think her voice is extremely pleasant. Unfortunately, I do not like the male narrator's voice at all. The male narrator's voice grated me the wrong way overall but especially when he was speaking as a female character *cringe*
The only reason I listened through the book and gave it such a high rating is the story. The good thing about audiobooks is that they can be listened to while doing something else! Although, I know I would have actually finished the book faster being able to read it myself and not having anything to take away from the story.

Another thoroughly enjoyable book. Touched all bases, happy, sad and funny all rolled into one.

Male Narrator doesn't match.
I felt that the male narrator's voice didn't match the character and took me out of the story. Especially when he spoke as a female.
The story was good. Some unnecessary hesitance at the end.
The female narrator was excellent.
