Book 1 in the New York Times best-selling Arrangement Serials.
FML is becoming Avery's motto. Just when she doesn't think things could get any worse, they do. When her car stalls out at a busy intersection and she gets out to check under the hood, a guy steals her car. Armed with a dress and a pair of Chucks, Avery runs after the thief. When a hot stranger offers to help, she can't say no. That's how Avery meets Sean Ferro, the totally sexy, totally damaged guy with more secrets than she has time for. Avery doesn't have time for anything anymore.
Her is life falling apart and it's not just the car. It's everything, and it doesn't matter how tightly she tries to hold on, there's nothing left to hold on to. With the sudden death of her parents, it's only a matter of months until Avery's shot at college is gone, and she's living in a cardboard box. Other students have their families to rely on when things get bad. Avery has no one. But there's one option, one incredibly sexy, morally devoid, option. If Avery takes a job as a call girl, one guy could save her. One client. One time. She just has to say yes.

All I can say is, I purchased the first three because they were affordable (cheap), but then I started feeling cheated. Seriously cheated!! This is basically one book broken into a few chapters then sold separately so that they can sell it for $30+++ dollars! There are so many good books out there for reasonable prices, and I won't tell you this isn't a good book, but heck, this isn't worth over $30 to get the full story!! I'm such an idiot for buying more than one! Hope you aren't!! Hope this doesn't become a trend either. I will drop this author like nothing else and any other who chooses to mess their readers over like this! UGH!
"It's ok... but..."
This was ok... but seriously the story was not that great to make me want to buy it piece by piece. Something really dramatic should have happen, within the 2hrs of this book... but it didn't, so I am not really all that excited to continue.
Just eh... It wasn't bad...but just wasn't great!
Narration was actually pretty good. Fairly decent....
A buy, not a credit...it's under 5 bucks... but REMEMBER.... this is only like 4 chapters of the complete story... you have to buy the other sections separately... which kinda takes away from the story...
"a few chapter given little by little at a time...."
THIS IS NOT A BOOK, nor a "volume" and the series is not a "series": it's just an installment of a few chapters released bit by bit. I'll give H.M. Ward 5 stars for making a fortune by only giving us a pieces at a time. This is the first installment of Sean Ferro's story. We are introduced to Avery, who is pretty much alone in the world after her parents die. She has a scholarship but working long hours is hindering her study time. She also makes too little money so she is not only barely surviving she is in danger of losing her scholarship. Her friend introduces her to a job of a call girl. Avery is a virgin and desperate so she takes the job. We also are introduced to a hot mysterious Motorcycle Man, Sean; he came to Avery’s rescue when her car was jacked and he left a lasting impression on Avery. Soon after Avery decides to accept the job as an escort and she finds out Sean is her first client. When Sean discovers Avery is his escort, he is not happy and wants to break off the arrangement until Avery convinces him not to. Now they have to make a new arrangement. Can't even consider this a cliffhanger just an abrupt ending.
"The book that started it all..."
You know you've stumbled onto something wonderful when you get tingles from the first chapter. I have really clicked with H.M Ward's style of writting. I love her sense of humour and the way she puts so much detail in describing her characters and the emotions they go through. She is funny as heck and her books are emotionnaly charged! The Arrangement series is just that, a series. Whereas novels tend to be more like watching a movie with a nice conclusion and perhaps a hint towards a sequel, series are like watching a good tv show, episode by episode, always ending in a cliffhanger that leaves you begging for more.
Kitty Bang is an amazing narrator. One moment she's practically in tears, the next, she's all attitude while reading another character's lines. Kitty Bang is full-on emotion without over-exagerating. Her voice is soothing and she brings H.M. Ward's strong characters to life perfectly.
"Hot and Sexy!!! LOL!!"
I'm kind of disappointed the it's only 2 hours long.
I love that mystery in the this book. It gets you on the edge to want to learn more about each character.
Kitty plays both character very well.
Ending makes you want to buy the 2nd book right away. I did like the book, great story line and sexy. Avery is very funny girl, I love her spirit.
"SEXY HOT AND SUSPENSEFUL"
Not unless you have a lot of money to invest in a story that is good but never ending have never experienced a book like this one have bought all FIFTEEN BOOKS and when I got to the end it still wasn't over. I have research to find that there are two more books audible does not have as yet and I am still not sure if the story ends there. There are different parts within the book that are right out of pretty women with a little twist, that was a little strange, but over all have really enjoyed the books just know what you are getting into to start for you will want all of them if you like steamy sex with several murders and suspense.
Just really like her ability to read a book with real emotion
Yes but not possible
You have been warned as of 12/23/14 you won't be able to finish the book for they do not have it all. It is not a series it is just one book with 18 parts that I know of so far which will cost between $4 and $5 a piece.
Yes! Omg it's sooooo goood !Highly recommended
Clear voice, good pace
Yes, and i did, 2 hrs and 27 mins, not too long, not too short
I'd give it a try
When Avery's car got stolen and she was running after it.
I would say so
"too much money for the book."
I like The book not total price, buying it in chapters is too much money..already spent almost fifty dollars on this book and haven't finished it yet not worth the price.
The entire book was like the opening chapters of a book. She just got the characters introduced and ends the book? This was horrible to be called a book. I won't get volume 2.
