An elf prince on the verge of losing himself to the darkness, Vail is maddened by the 42 centuries he was under the control of a witch and forced to war with his brother. Now he roams hell seeking an escape from his terrible past and the heads of all who bear magic. When demons of the Fifth Realm capture him, he sees a chance to end his existence, but when he wakes in a cell to a beautiful female, he finds not death but his only shot at salvation - his true fated mate.
Captured by the enemy of the Third Realm when the war ended, Rosalind has spent months in the cells of the Fifth Realm with her magic bound, forced to heal the new king's demon warriors, and haunted by the lives she has taken. When she's brought to heal an unconscious man, she discovers her only hope of escape has come in the form of her worst nightmare and the first part of a prediction that might spell her doom - a devastatingly handsome and dangerous dark elf prince.
Unwilling to fall under the control of anyone ever again, Vail must escape before the Fifth King can use him as a pawn in a deadly game of revenge, but he cannot leave without Rosalind, the woman who looks at him with dark desire in her stunning eyes and awakens a fierce hunger in his heart. A witch who drives him mad with need even as the darkness within whispers she will enslave him, too. Can Rosalind escape her fate as they embark on a journey fraught with danger and resist the temptation of her rogue elf prince? And can Vail overcome the memories that madden him in order to seize his chance for salvation and the heart of his fated female forever?

"DISAPPOINTED IN THIS ONE"
Chapters 1, 2 & 3 were what I expected...action, suspense, thrills. Chapters 4 thru 10, for me, were irritating they were inner dialogue and turmoil about Vail's captivity with the Witch. Story picks up at Chapter 11 but it's pace is slow building on Vail's and Rosalind's relationship. Vail's angst and turmoil went on way too long for me.
Aaron Abano gave a great performance.
"I would not be tempted By a Rouge Prince"
Maybe if there is nothing better to listen to the story and plot would have to be much better than this.
Basically what happens to the witch Rosalind how she got out of enemy hands and how the prediction of her death by an elf prince came into being.
The least interesting part was the traveling through enemy territory, Vale showed very little change or growth in character even right up to the end, same with Rosalind the witch. Short conversations, little action except one battle scene near the end.
It is hard for a performance to have done better when the story I felt lacked so much in excitement and Character growth. I believe the narrator did the best he could for this story.
More growth within the characters, not just a quick rut here and there. I felt no real development gradual or otherwise. Basically it was "MY female hungers" then Vale has trouble dealing with his own nightmares finally ruts the heck out of his Kiara before breaking down and running off. Rosalind is given little snips to try and work out this damaged Elvin male before her, with what she gave his trust should have come out more to share more parts of his old life and in those moments show parts of the man he was before the evil witch stole his life from him.
I beleive people should still listen to it as it basically completes your view of the first three books in the series but don't get your hopes up for a hot steamy romance.
"Tempted By a Rogue Prince, By Felicity Heaton"
This story broke my heart. Dam good writing. Two people who needed each more, to fix what was broken, and really live again.
Got tired of spending the entire book in their heads, repeating the same thoughts for at least 2/3 of the book. This would have made a better short story
This book is an erotic, romance, with violence and paranormal.
Elf prince Vail has been under the spell of a witch for 42 centuries and has no intention of going back to trusting any other woman, do you blame him the last women tried to kill his entire kind, which thought to be extinct but powerful. He has gone mad and is never thought to have ever to be sane again, they do not called him the mad prince for nothing.
Rosalind her family history has all turned to dark magic, but she is trying everything in her power to not become like the, to do only good. When she is captured and forced to only use her healing powers for the enemy. She finds herself face to face with a mad man and in order for her to stay alive she will have to pursue his multiple personalities to believe she is not evil.
I liked the story, the author can really put a book together. Unfortunately it is not my style of book though.
