Daisy Honey fled Trusty, Colorado, after years of battling rumors sparked by her gorgeous looks and lust-inducing name. Now a physician on the brink of a promising career, she reluctantly returns home when her father is injured in a farming accident. Daisy expects the small-town girls who hurt her in the past to take cheap shots again - but she's completely unprepared for a run-in with tall, dark, and wickedly sexy Luke Braden, the only man who has ever stood up for her - and the man she's never forgotten.
Luke Braden is handsome, wealthy, and the best damn gypsy horse breeder in the Midwest. After a restless youth, he's finally ready to settle down - only connecting with women is nothing like connecting with horses, and he's never met a woman worth the energy. After an arrest in a neighboring town, Luke's past comes back to haunt him, and he realizes that his inability to find love runs deeper than he ever imagined.
A chance encounter sweeps Luke and Daisy into a world of passion. For the first time ever, Luke feels a connection, but Daisy's life in Trusty is anything but permanent, and Luke can't manage a future until he puts his past to rest.
Taken by Love is part of the Love in Bloom series. While it can be heard as a stand-alone novel, for even more enjoyment, you may want to listen to the entire Love in Bloom series in order. Characters from each sub-series appear in future books.

"I need more"
Now I have to read all the other books. The narrator pulls you into the story with ease. I kinda like how the suspense of the story was emotional. You really work through the past problems with daisy and Luke. I smiled through the whole book.
"Worth a read"
Such a lovely love story about two people who've known each other for ages, went their own ways for a time and then met up again and after a while they realize that they are in fact in love with each other. There are a few ups and downs in their environment while they decide how they can make a life together and they eventually sort themselves out.
This was one of those books that is beautifully written, holds ones interest and I just hated that it ended, but there are others in this series so YAY!
The narration of this audiobook is superb. Such a beautiful voice.
"Great journey through a budding romance"
Very enjoyable and easy to follow while I was working in the gardens. The story line was wonderful and classy romantic with a twist of slight ecstasy.
"Sweet and Sexy"
I liked this book. the story was sweet and homey. there wasn't any bullshit angst or drama. it was just a story of two people falling i love and trying to figure out their futures. I wanted something light and I got exactly what i wanted. While there are many books in the series before this one the book can be read as a stand alone. I wasn't lost at all even with other family members being mentioned. Hi-5 to Melissa Foster!!
Narrator 3.5 his slight southern drawl was NICE!
"Fun and Sassy Romance"
Since I hadn't read this title in print I can't answer this question, however I purchased it because it sounded like it might be a light-hearted romance that would be fun to listen to at work and it completely exceeded my expectations. I really enjoyed the story line and am not looking into more of the series.
I loved so many things about the story. I was looking for something fun and I found it.
There is a scene in the book where the community comes together to run a clinic. I loved the whole thing.
"Love, Love, Love"
Melissa doesn't disappoint! Could spend days reading her series!!! Taken by Love is shoos sawing to earth every day love story!
The story and characters were good. It was a little bit too drug out for me. I would rather read a shorter book than one that is filled in with unnecessary wording to make it longer. Also more intrigue would have been nice.
"I love Melissa Foster's style."
Dr. Daisy Honey, gosh I love her name, is probably my favorite female character in all of Melissa Foster’s Snow Sister Series. Her sense of home is amazing and something that I could easily relate to. I stayed close to parents and family, knowing that I needed them as much as they needed me. When she runs into Luke, again, after going away to college to become a doctor the sparks were so obvious and hot. The original sparks could be due to her remembering how he protected and stood up for her when she was in high school, but it was quickly obvious that it was so much more than that. The longer she stays in her home town, Trusty, the more she realizes that the town needs her as much as she needs the town and the security, friendships, and love it offers.
I love Melissa Foster’s style. She constantly pulls me in making the characters seem more like friends that just characters in a book. I can picture the towns I visit in her books, along with the people who live in these towns. As with the rest of this series, I highly recommend it
"good book great narration"
well I really didn't think I wld like this book when I started it but about chapter 6 it grabbed me and sucked me in.... I have always enjoyed the author but like to read not listen to her books. thankfully I gave the audio a chance and I'm very happy I did 😊 this book was provided free of charge by audiobook boom for a honest review
"This book was fun"
This book was a new experience for me. I'm used to books having some form of a fight between the two main characters, that it was shocking to see that there were none in this book. The most shocking part was that the book did not need it.
I liked the tone of the book and the sense of growth that Daisey and Luke went through and I really wan to read the bnext book in the series.
