She's been a good girl too long - now she's ready to be bad. And on the back of a Harley is the best way to get there.
Elizabeth Williams, a single, small-town librarian, knows she doesn't belong in the notorious biker bar, Perdition. Especially not alone, in a frilly pink bridesmaid dress. But after watching her best friend marry her ex-boyfriend, she's ready to drink her cares away. And break out of the good girl mold she's been stuck in most of her life.
Ryker, a member of the Four Horsemen MC, can't take his eyes off the gorgeous, curvy redhead at his club's bar. He suddenly has a taste for pink and he's going to get him some. Just for one night, of course, because Ryker doesn't do relationships. Ever.
One night turns into more - until a wild party and a pair of naked blondes get in the way. Now she's ready to run, and his pride demands he let her go. But when Elizabeth's ex begins to stalk her, Ryker realizes he'll do anything to keep her safe. Can a rough, tough biker hang onto both his pride and his woman?

"Enjoyable Story but a little far fetched!"
This book was ok. Not bad but not anything that stands out. I think if there had been a little more build up in the beginning I would have enjoyed it more. I don't like insta-love because I just can't feel the love between the characters. Besides that I enjoyed the storyline and the sex for sure. I didn't love Elizabeth, she felt like a contradictions throughout the entire book. I think you can either be kind of innocent and reserved or you aren't, acting like you are 1 minute and then doing sexual things you've never done with a guy you know about 2 days just doesn't fit that personality. If we were talking about regular sex things yes, I can see that happening but somethings a shy reserved girl just doesn't do with some one she doesn't even know. But that is just my thoughts. I will be continuing on with the series because I think it has potential to be great.
The narration was awesome! I love these 2 narrators and they are the reason I bought this series to try.
Seriously one of the best mc books I have ever experienced especially when Kai and wen are narrating. I absolutely loved it when Ryker finally beat the shit out of Carl the stupid ass.
"Sweet Perdition: Four Horsemen MC, Book 1"
the narrators were AWESOME making this story come alive
to me they are all unique soI can on;y say ths book is so good
they always live the parts if it is the accents or emotion or both , Reading just doesnot convey the story like listening to them in audio
when they were at the fair , Stryker finally got a taste of his own medicine
this author did a great job with this book, you see how they come together 2 worlds collide, and Kai Kennicott , Wen Ross were the perfect ones to bring the book to life
I have listened and returned so many stupid mc books. I really enjoyed this one. A little short but definitely a good one
Loved it. I listened to it on Audible and really enjoyed it! I'll be reading some other books by Cynthia Rayne.
"Cute but not my kind of book"
This book is a romantic, bit of comedy and a small amount of violence some soft bdsm.
Elizabeth Williams aka pinky a librarian has not had a bad life but when it comes to her love life, this day she said fuck it all. She stopped at a biker bar after attending her ex's wedding, whom he married her best friend. She is all good girl, but is not looking for more than a one night stand, but one night is not enough for this biker. With help from his mother and a friend, he is beginning to see there is more beyond his world, but is it worth it.
Freddie Mercury aka Ryker has been born and raised in the biker life, he has known nothing else and he will do anything for his family. But when a night with a sexy librarian tilts his world he is not going to let go, what ever it is they have. All of a sudden he find himself wanting no one else but her and now he is going to risk a lot to protect her from her ex and ever other man that keeps looking at her.
I have to admit, it was a good book, although I could not connect with the characters. There are some funny parts but over all it was good, just not my type of book, sorry.
This was a good story enhanced by narrator. Not a dark gross mc novel. More about the romance
Really didn't get into the gritty outlaw side. No rough harsh treatment of women just for the sake of it being an mc novel. Story is more about Alpha male biker meets girl and how that relationship develops. The girl develops her sass. Really good.
It was good. Did not want it to end
I like this. Could not stop listening until the end.
"not a fan of the narrators"
I love the story and followed up the rest of the books on my Kindle but their southern accents are so annoying. the guy sounds like he's trying to do an impression of Nicolas Cage in Con Air but not a good impression.
I am sorry, I wanted to like this story but it just wasn’t memorable for me. I only finished it a day ago and I had to play back some of it to write this review. And that has never happened to me before.
Really the only thing that saved this story in my mind were the narrators, they kept me listening.
I just didn’t find it a very in-depth book.
I did like that Ryker kept calling her by his nick name for her, I loved that.
Elizabeth’s ex, was a grade A douche! Just saying.
Yes it’s a short and I didn’t feel like it was missing anything vital, maybe it was just me and I didn’t connect with the characters. It wasn’t badly written or anything.
*All my Reviews are 100% honest and my own.*
"read it do not listen to it"
the story was great but the guy reading it was terrible. really just wish that I had read it instead of listening to it
