This 30 minute audiobook really wasn’t enough, after finishing Sweet Filthy Boy I knew I would devour anything Ansel-related, so this book from his perspective was perfect! I already knew that Ansel was a person that wore his heart on his sleeve and this short book went onto show that even more. I loved getting into his head and learning his exact feelings about Mia and the situation they found themselves in. His fascination and concern for her was always apparent, but actually getting it from his own perspective made me love Ansel that much more. Also Jason Carpenter’s French accent was on point! This 30 minute audiobook made me want to buy all the books that he narrated immediately! And just to move to France so I could be around this sexy accent all the time. Sweet Filthy Morning After is a super short book, but definitely worth it. Fans of Ansel, I highly recommend giving this book a go.
Oh my...................absolutely loved this little gem on audible. It is Ansel's POV (Sweet Filthy Boy) of 'the' morning after the night before, and has all Ansel's thoughts from when he wakes up married in the hotel room, as he thinks about his first meeting with Mia the previous evening. It only makes me love Ansel more. Absolutely loved this audio, Jason Carpenter nails it. Would love a full story with his POV
"Short but oh so sweet"
This short novella is from Ansel's point of view and I just loved getting inside his head. If you loved Sweet Filthy Boy then you must get this one. It might be a short listen but it definitely packed a big punch. Not to mention Jason Carpenter's narration is terrific.
5 star listen!
"the point of this was what?"
I thought this book was going to give some info I didn't know but nope... total waste of time
I think is in my Top 20
No, I'm not the author lol
I enjoy all of their stories
Sure, is tiny!
Love the story
"OH. MY. GOD. ANSEL IS BACK!"
it'll be in the top 20 for sure
Jason Carpenter has an amazing voice! his narrations are always awesome.
What happens in Vegas.... Continues in Paris
OH. MY. GOD. ANSEL IS BACK! And with his point of view, even better! Things can get better and better, JASON CARPENTER is narrating with a sexy french accent! *FAINT* And when I thought I would live after this audiobook, the inevitable happened, I saw in my head my already chosen book boyfriend, THEO JAMES! *DEAD*. And then, the audiobook was over. Why? why? why? It was only 30 minutes of my beloved Ansel! I want more! Can i have more please?
The outtake was published last june in VH1 and I was jumping up and down because I love a man POV, and now the audiobook was the perfect addition to the story. I love Jason’s voice, his narration was perfect for Ansel, his french accent was flawless, and when he spoke a little words in french, I was smiling like an idiot.
I won’t say much about what happens in this short novella, all I can tell that Ansel is just perfect!!! <3 You all need to listen to it!!! It’s short, but it’s worth it. 30 minutes and 54 seconds in heaven!!!
This scene takes place the morning after Mia and Ansel spend the night together and get married. I loved being in Ansel's head - even if it's only for 30 minutes!
Why? Would have been amazing if it was the full book. This was a waste of time and huge let down just stopping...
"Sweet, Filthy Goodness"
It's no surprise the fabulous writing duo of Christina Lauren has done it again. Readers have another series equally as entertaining as the Beautiful series. I devoured this audiobook and am ready for more of these fun characters.
I read the first in ebook, but now that I've listened to this one on audio, I'll be listening to the rest. The narration is spot on.
I love having Ansel's POV but 30 minutes is not enough! It's literally a tease
"Too short to bother with."
It isn't that I didn't like this book. The problem is that it was too short.
The French accent.
Unless you want to end up frustrated, skip this book.
I love the story from Mia's POV and I loved Ansel's POV. The voice actor really sold it for me too.
