"Left Me Stone Cold"
The premise was good. The execution was lacking. Hot button issues not addressed correctly, leaving parts unrealistic and so unbelievable it was difficult to sink into the story. Dual narration was good - definitely made this a better listen than read. But in the end, it just left me cold.
I like this book with the three brothers working together and loving each other. Helping each and staying together no matter what
"strangers in the night?"
OMG having the two narrators each doing a part was awesome it gave the book even more depth. CJ and Mason brought this book to life. I loved it reading it and fell more in love with it listening to it.
"Bloom can not do male voiice"
I liked the book ok. I would have been better if it was read differently. It is so hard to find books with the dual narration that I enjoy. Male reading male parts and so on. I feel the narration can make or break a book.
"This story left me cold --- returning"
This could have been a good story. Oh I lament what could have been!! I did not buy into the "protective" nature of the H. The heroine jumps from an abusive relationship straight into one based on sexual attraction immediately after fleeing her abuser?? I could not believe it; therefore the story was flat for me.
