Summary

This isn't a coming out story. Nor is it the tale of a lonely heart-seeking companionship. This is about how I learned to fight.

My name is Nathaniel Courtney, and I m a survivor. I didn't let the cruelty of others wear me down, and I've weathered the more subtle hardships of the heart. Love is a Trojan horse, slipping past your guard and leaving you ransacked and vulnerable. I emerged from that war not unscathed but as a new man. The only mistake I ever made was letting the right guy get away. Now I've got one more chance. This is the final battle, because if I fail now...I won't. You'll see. Just listen to my story, Kelly Phillips, and when I'm done, please don t walk away. Take this weary soldier into your arms so we can find peace together.

Even more details

As always the story gave just a bit more of an insight into this amazing story and the narrator giving each character the respect they deserve. Absolutely loved it.

Getting a bit stale

How many times can I listen to the same story. I found myself wanting to fast forward through the parts I have heard at least 4 times now. Don't get me wrong it filled in some gaps but only a couple.
I don't do spoilers so can't say to much. But I accept he was emotionally damage but can someone really be so stupid...

The last couple of chapters where good, as was the 'shock discovery' though as soon as I heard the name Star, I sort of expected something.

My one thought.. If victor had known maybe things for him would have been different ..

Warning this is so good you will cry

There should have been a warning on this story, I teared up too many times on the train to work. such a beautiful story told so well, narration simply perfect. I miss all the characters every time I finish one of the series and I'm over joyed when I get to hear more from them, my old favourite Tim and even Marcello are now dear friends oh mine. Nathaniel and Kelly's story had full of Joy. I wish Jay Bell would rewrite my life for me lol

good, lot's of good stuff

Nathaniel turns out to be a bit annoying, it's hard to be sympathetic to him, for most of the book, till he gets his act together, and why is a 23 year old practically an old person in this world, admittedly I haven't finished the book yet, Kelly turns out to be a pretty great guy 3 books in!, if you like these books you'll like this book, Ok I've finished it now and of course the ending is great and everything wraps up perfectly like allways, God these books are good, turns out Kelly is the best character of all,
