The author's writing style and the excellent narration of Stevie Zimmerman.
I can't really single one out. I enjoyed it all so much.
I thought she managed the voices of the different characters extremely well, even the men. I've listened to a lot of audiobooks and few female narrators can carry off the male characters as well as she did.
Yes. Sadly, I wasn't able to do so, as I listened to it during several commutes to work. It would be ideal for a longer journey.
This is a lovely story of the courtship period between Elizabeth Bennet's and Fitzwilliam Darcy's engagement at the end of Pride and Prejudice and their eventual marriage. It's fairly low angst and though there are several love scenes during the story, I would recommend it for all audiences.

"summary of story is misleading"
I love just about anything P&P. I appreciated that the author seemed to have the same take on the affection and relationship between Darcy & Elizabeth that I like to believe existed but was never written about by Jane Austen. I also liked that in the brief bit you saw of the other characters, this author seemed to hold true to the characters that Jane Austen created.
I gave the "story" 3 out of 5 stars, because while nothing major happened, I felt that it was written well and the author had a good grasp on the characters.
What I liked least is that I feel the summary is misleading. The summary reads "Their betrothal is not without its own difficulties, however, and a single misunderstanding may place all of their future happiness in jeopardy.", but nothing major happened. Yes, there was a MINOR misunderstanding, but it didn't "jeopardize" the engagement or their future happiness and lasted for all of 5 minutes.
This is a short story that gives the reader/listener a glimpse into one version of what took place during the short engagement between Darcy and Elizabeth, (nothing unexpected - walks together, stealing kisses, etc.) and their first night "together" as man and wife. If you are interested in that, then read/listen to it. If you are looking for more, skip it.
No reaction really. Nothing unexpected or unusual occurred.
Stevie Zimmerman's performance was as good as ever.
N/A. Too short to be a movie and not enough occurred to warrant a short film.
The voices of the characters made me travel through time. Riveting as if I was there.
Fitzwilliam carrying her in the rain.
Exceptional at dramatic pauses. She didn't seemed rush at all.
Love is Timeless
"Wish I had listened to the preview"
While this book was an ok story. The narrator was horrible! I may have liked the story better if she didn't make Elizabeth Bennet sound like a little girl. Also it sounded like this was recorded in a bathroom where the sound bounced off the walls. If you are interested in this book buy the e-book and skip the audio, you will be thanking me.
I love this!,it was just the way I pictured it would end.How I wish Jane Austen reads this
"Love ... Love ... Love"
I love listening to narrations by Stevie Zimmerman. Her voice is lively and perfect for this book.
Threat of Scandal - Written by the same author and narrated by the same narrator. Equally wonderful story.
I love her narration of Mrs. Bennet. Not a character I generally love, but Stevie does the voice perfectly.
