There's no way I'll fall for Wyatt Hennington. He can keep his Southern drawl, irresistible smile, and those pick-up lines all to himself. I made the mistake of sleeping with him not once, but twice. I'm not stupid enough to give him round three, especially after he left me in the middle of the night so I could see myself out. I vow to return to Philadelphia and forget him.
It proves easier said than done.
When the doctor informs me I'm the winner of door prize number two, I put my life on hold and head back to Bell Buckle. Three months and if we can't make this work, I'm gone.
The problem is, when the cards are stacked against us, and I can't bring myself to leave him, I'll finally know if he truly loves me or if all my fears were real.

"Narration was great!"
The story was ok but not unique. I guess I expected more because of all the reviews, which I definitely read before I commit. I think we need more unbiased real listeners to weigh in to the review process.
What can I say? it was very predictable, and yes there was a big surprise climax but then it went back to predictable. I always feel cheated when the leading man is written to be madly in love and determined with no explanation of how that happened. He was "kind of a slut" until he met her and then he suddenly became a new man. Like after a couple dates, she goes away for a while and he gives up other women. OK, maybe that happens but there is nothing compelling in the story to explain. the reader is just expected to accept it. That leaves me a little flat. This story did not bring forth strong emotional connections to the characters .
But WOW the narration was awesome, both the male and the female. 5 stars for you guys.
"A RIVETING ROMANTIC RIDE & A VERY EMOTIONAL TWIST"
Oh Corinne you wicked wicked woman.. you took me on a sweet, tender and romantic ride as Angie and Wyatt made the best of an unplanned situation (months after having one night together) and fell hopelessly in love with each other. It created all the happy feels in me as I eagerly soaked up each scene and listened in on their conversations.. not knowing that you were about to break their hearts (and mine) with the tragic events you threw in that was devastating, shattered dreams and completely changed the mood of the book. However, I had faith that you would find a way for these two broken lovers to reunite, move forward, forgive.. and love again - and thankfully you did.
I connected and liked the characters straight away, understood their feelings and shed tears along with them as their dreams were violently ripped away from them. I lived and breathed this emotional love story.. from their initial undeniable chemistry, strong attraction and easy banter - through the heartbreak and grief - to finally bask in exchanged words of love and the touching HEA ending. Corinne you gave it your best and it was awesome.. thank you.
Worth a credit? An emotional rollercoaster romance, a beautiful love story, a family you'd like to be part of, great narration and a loveable H/H who made this listen a memorable one. So YES creditworthy.. and sighworthy too.
"A Perfect UGLY CRY!!!! UGLY CRY!!!! UGLY CRY!!!!"
I had no idea... No one told me...I went in blind and it was an amazing book!!! I was very excited to start this because I've loved all the other audiobooks I've listen to by this author. Once it started and I realized what it was about I knew I'd love it even more....but then... "IT HAPPENED" and I was sitting on an airplane...No warning.... Yes I ugly cried on the airplane! Thanks Mrs. Michaels, I looked like an idiot but it was worth it! What an amazing book. Corinne Michaels may be the best at writing a scene that rips your heart out, and thank god she always mends it before the book is over.
The narration was amazing too! Both narrators did a fabulous job and they fit the characters so well!
"SWEET FIGHT FOR IT ROMANCE!!!"
I would...Corinne writes wonderful stories!
Angie...she was very strong...even in heartache she was strong!
When they had the accident and Angie almost dies...she awakens after 4 days...and is devastated....
This was a good story...Angie has a fling with Wyatt when she comes home to visit her bestie...well she gets pregnant...and being a strong woman she really wants to do it all on her own...they convince her to give Wyatt a chance and she agrees to 3 months...well a lot can happen in 3 months...and love blooms...but sudden tragedy causes heartache and they almost dont make it...I was very impressed with how strong Angie was even in the worst days of her life....Men have a harder time dealing with sudden grief I think....so Wyatt, even though he was a dummy..finally got it together and we got a beautiful HEA!!!
VERY NICE STORY...AND I RECOMMEND...NO I DID NOT UGLY CRY...JUST GOT A LITTLE BIT WEEPY!!
Oh Corinne... I hate you so much for sucking out all my tears but I love your talent and your heart. I just really wish you wouldn't crush my heart to pieces. But thanks for putting it together before spitting me out.
Sophie and Zachary did a fantastic job. There were a lot of really emotional moments that must have been difficult to narrate and they did such a great job. They brought all the emotions to life.
"Not overly memorable"
No. It wasn't a bad read, but when I came back to review it, I had to re-read the description and even then, I really can't remember the details. The ending was sweet, but there was no great gripping drama.
Yep sure, they were fine. They were not bad or amazing.
If there was one, I wouldn't bother buying it. If I could borrow it from an audible library I might try it, but that's as far as I would go.
"Laughs, swoons, and tears abound!"
Whew! Those Hennington Brothers sure know how to make you swoon. Wyatt really surprised me with his character in this book. I totally expected him to be different.
This book was quite the rollercoaster ride. Laughs, swoons, and tears abound.
The narrators were amazing and I loved how they both brought the character and the story to life.
Now I need Trent's story. I'm not liking him too much after the glimpses I've been given so I want to see how my mind will be changed.
Absolutely one of the best books ever! I laughed and cried with this story. I just wanted it to go on and on forever!
"Another must read"
As I bawled in the beginning of book 1, and giggled off and on throughout the rest of it, nothing prepared me for the bittersweet, heart wrenchingly beautiful truths of book 2. I cried so hard as I relived losses in my life, and I smiled from ear to ear with fondness for this story's characters.
Thank you Ms Corinne, Ms Sophie and Mr Zachary for delivering this gem into my heart.
I did enjoy the story . I would have enjoyed more if Angie's character was a little less of a sour puss all the time. I don't know how she caught Wyatt
