Publisher's Summary

River rafting and adventure company owner Sam Braden works hard and plays harder. He's fast, focussed, and determined - and never at a loss for a willing woman to share his time with. The trouble is, the only woman he wants refuses him at every turn.

Physician assistant Faith Hayes escaped her painful past and built a safe, happy life in Peaceful Harbor. She's also put what she's learned to good use helping others by founding Women Against Cheaters, an online support group. When her boss's sinfully sexy brother sets his sights on sweet Faith, she knows the self-professed player is everything she shouldn't want, and she's determined to resist him.

Sam pulls out all the stops, proving to Faith that his past doesn't have to define his future. As she lets down her guard and begins to trust Sam, intense conversations turn to intimate pleasures. But when real life steps in and their pasts collide, it's Faith who's left with something to prove.

    "LOVE LOVE LOVE "

Sam had his eye on Faith and kept his distance because she worked for his brother.  That ended the night of Cole's wedding.  Faith did not want to get close to Sam, he was known as a Playboy. However the more time Faith spent with Sam she realized that he truly was a great guy. You will love Sam, he is honest, helpful and caring. I love listening to Melissa's audio books. They are so convent as I am forever in my car. BJ Harrison does wonderful with the narration of her books

    "Olil and Water"

What do you get when you mix a lady’s man with a woman who is weary of men in general, and those that cheat in particular. Sparks! I loved reading this book and seeing a love unfold between a man who was never willing to commit and a woman who never wanted to commit again.

Despite his brother’s warning to stay away from Faith, Sam was on a mission to earn her trust. The lengths that Sam will go to in order to make Faith believe in him was very romantic. And Faith had to go against her best friend’s advice and take a leap of faith and hope that Sam would catch her!

I had read this book awhile ago and loved listening to it again as it brought me back and let me experience Sam and Faith's story in a totally different perspective.

    "okay read"

I generally love Ms. Foster's books but this one I had a hard time enjoying. The characters Sam and Faith were a good couple once Faith worked through her trust issues. I felt that with the way Faith's character kept returning to her issues with Sam's past had how for most of the book had a hard time getting around it, it made her a weak character and hard for me to like. I also did not like Faith's 'best friend' Vivian because her jadedness over men and refusal to be supportive of Faith and her wanting to try for a relationship with Sam did not make her a good friend and hard to like as a character. I felt bad for Sam at the beginning of the book as nothing he did appeared to win him any trust points. I liked the strong sense of family that was throughout the book and the return whether through mention or appearance of the characters from the previous books in the Love in Bloom series. The plot of this story moved along well and flowed nicely. The narration from Mr. Harrison was enjoyable to listen to as it was smooth and it flowed well.

    "LOVE THIS AUDIO BOOK!!!!"
Would you consider the audio edition of River of Love to be better than the print version?

YES!!!! It really takes you away and puts you in the story!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Sam is my favorite character. Seeing him transform from the bad boy into the man I thought he would become was such a great journey.

What does B.J. Harrison bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

You can sit back and truly let yourself become part of the story.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Bad boy goes good. (with a twist)

"Don't Always Judge a Book by its Cover"
If you could sum up River of Love in three words, what would they be?

I would have to say, Don't Always Judge, for my 3 words for this book. Don't always be so quick to judge others until you have all of the information.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Sam was DEFINITELY my favorite character within the book. He really had to work hard to prove himself to Faith and show her that he is a good guy. I loved how confident he was with himself and how hard he was willing to work every time Faith tried to hold him at a distance. The two of them together were scorching.

What does B.J. Harrison bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

When reading a book, you are really only able to get so much out of it. You create the characters in your mind and can really only get so much out of it. B.J. Harrison helped bring the characters to life and add depth to them throughout. I loved how he brought a new side and view to things and made it even more enjoyable for readers throughout the book.<br/><br/>If I had just read the book, I think that there are details I would have missed had I never listened to the audiobook.

    "Hot!!"

Sam Braden is known for dating lots of women and never getting serious. Faith Hayes is a little jaded after being cheated on in the past. She has even started a group called Women Against Cheaters. Faith is the only woman Sam has wanted to get serious with. After proving to Faith he is not a cheater there is no stopping these two. Sam Braden has become my new favorite Braden man. You can never go wrong with a book by Melissa Foster. This book has it all humor and lots of hot sex.. BJ Harrison did an amazing job with the narration!!!

"I want to be Braden's girl!"

Faith had been hurt by a man in her past and she started an online support group Woman Against Cheaters. Sam loves women and he has no shortage of them, but the one woman he wants doesn't want to give him the time of day. Faith knows Sam doesn't commit to any of the women he goes out with but he peaks her interest. Sam knows Faith had been hurt and he has to go slow to prove to Faith that he is not a cheater like her ex. Sam shows Faith the personal side of him, something he hasn't shown any other woman he's gone out with. You can see the trust being built and the chemistry these two characters have together. I love all of Melissa Foster's book but I have to say I think this just might be my new favorite!

I enjoyed reading River of Love, but I enjoyed listening to the audio version as well. B.J. Harrison has a voice you get lost in and make the characters come to life.

    Story
    "When adventure boy finds love"
What made the experience of listening to River of Love the most enjoyable?

This was an amazing story narrated by BJ Harrison. I love audio books but this one was outstanding. BJ Harrison has a way of transporting you to a front row seat to all the action. With Melissa's word magic you feel like you're witnessing close friends and family live life and find love. In this fun loving romance we meet Sam Braden (which quite possibly is one of my favorite Bradens) and he's an adventure guy with his own company filled with river rafting and adventure fun...so his days are filled with what he loves already. In enter Faith and his playboy ways are put to the side. He finds any reason to visit his brother to catch a glimpse of Faith. Faith is a dedicated worker for Cole and she although is attracted to Sam has been burned in the past and doesn't want to risk being crushed again. As these two spend more time together, their interests start flying and well it's a devilishly good time to be had. Love is in the air or rather flowing down the river for these two in the most delicious romance yet. Truly a must add to your audio collection. You'll melt right into this love affair.

What did you like best about this story?

The fun loving nature of the book and the sexy loving going on.

What about B.J. Harrison’s performance did you like?

The ways he changed characters and kept me engaged the whole time...truly and art form

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

yes, I had to keep putting this on hold just to tell my family directions on what to do but trust me I didn't want to pause it at all.

    Any additional comments?

    Truly and sexy sinful romance!!!
