New standalone novel from New York Times best-selling Author J. S. Cooper
I'm cocky because I can be. I've got it all: the looks, the money, the endurance. I'm the guy that every girl wants to be with, yet none of them have ever been able to tie me down.
I don't do love. I don't do relationships. And I sure as hell will never do marriage.
I'm all about the fast life and everything that entails. There's a different woman in my bed every week. My friends are jealous of me. My enemies envy me. Everyone wants my life. And everything in my life is absolutely perfect. At least, that's what everyone thinks.
Everything changed the day, Clementine O'Hara told me she was moving away. She's my best friend. She was my first kiss in grade school. We share everything with each other. She's the only girl I haven't tried anything with because she's off-limits to me and my friends. Only, suddenly I'm seeing her in a different light.
I'm Rhett and I don't let anything get me down. Then one night changed everything and everything I thought I knew was called into question. All of a sudden, being Rhett didn't mean so much anymore. All of a sudden my friendship with Clementine was in jeopardy and I wasn't sure what I was going to do.

Yes, if they were into audio books......I don't know if prefer just to read a book.
I actually read the book before I listented to the audio book. It was strange to have one voice be all the voices of the book. I am not sure I liked it.
I think her voice impersonations threw me off a bit, I am not sure I liked her voices.
I suggest different people for differnt voices, esp male to female.
Definitely you can never get enough Rhett
For me it was Rhett finally embracing the inevitable with Chloe
First for me but I loved her
Can't live without my best friend
I loved this story it was well read and well written
The protagonist was juvenile and the storyline was cliche.
I didn't understand why a female was narrating a book told from a male's perspective
"I LOVED THIS AUDIO BOOK"
Omg I loved this book so much I needed to hear it read out loud. It was amazing to hear! I would recommend this audio book to all
All of it, the realisation that he is in live with Clem, the friendship they have and connection is powerful.
She brings in the extra needed bits with the voice of characters, I didn't like how she spoke for Clem making her sound small but Clen is small so it kinda works. In my head Clem is a powerful strong woman with a strong woman's voice. But I loved it all
This book made me laugh and cry. It's a wonderful experience to listen to this being read.
You need to buy this audio book, I listened to it in the car, while food shopping, while in the shower. It meant I didn't waste any minute of the day NOT reading.
No I love the print version better because when I first read the book I pictured the characters a lot different. So when i started listening to the Audio book it was different but a good different.
Clementine was my favorite character Because I liked her personality in the story and how she knew Rhett so well.
I liked how the character Thomas was performed.
Falling In Love With My Best Friend
I would have love to hear a male voice for Rhett.
"Adorable and hottt love story"
I loved the development of Rhett and Clementine's friendship and love story :)
The First time Rhett and Clementine were intimate :)
The scene when Rhett visits his mom and realizes that she loves him. I also loved when Rhett realized that he is and has always been in love with Clementine.
There was an issue with chapter 2 and 3 where chapter 2 repeated chapter 1 and chapter 3 was the second half of chapter 2. So part of chapter 2 was skipped.
"js cooper rocks"
I was new to audiobooks great experience. loved the ending..would highly recommend this story. funny too..
"Not tween not adult fiction."
Written from a man's point of view, this story should have been read by a male narrator. Even so, It would not have helped this mediocre blah story.
"hard to follow and maintain interest"
Story had a Good plot. Too hard to follow couldnt keep my interest bad storytelling.
"Good ol southern guy!"
This is the first audiobook I've ever listened to. Reason is because my kindle "reads to me" therefore I haven't had to purchase one.
I really loved the scene where they were in his room "together" for the first time and Rhett told clew now he had never had another girl in his bed because it's their place.
I probably wouldn't. I didn't really like the way she did the "female" voice.
Yes it was. I love this series!
I have to say that this is honestly my very first audiobook so I don't really have anything to compare to. I can say I like the read to me setting on my kindle better. But I would recommend this to another reader. But adode from the audio part. Hollllllyyyy I'm in love and not just with my husband! Wow Rhett is my new book boyfriend! I love a good down home southern man! Big trucks and all! Rhett is cocky, loyal, and hot! I mean have you seen his picture!? Wow and that clemmmie! What's a vixen! You go girl! She is a strong women who is loyal to her best friend and knows what she wants and that's Rhett!!!! I love a feisty girl! I love the long term best friend relationship and how they never let anyone's opinion of their "weird" friendship change them!!! LOYAL is a huge factor for them! Thank you again ms cooper you've outdone yourself this time! Thank you!!!
