Video game coder Harley Kelso thought a tandem skydive would help her make her latest game more realistic. Instead, it literally put her in the arms of the sexiest man she's ever seen. Geeky to the core, Harley is the polar opposite of big and burly Beckett, but that doesn't stop her from wanting to play more carnal games with the sexy soldier.
When Beckett "Coach" Ralston offers to fill-in at a friend's skydiving club, he doesn't suspect he'll meet a woman who will change his life - and he definitely doesn't expect her to save it. But that's exactly what happens when an accident mid-air forces Harley to land them both safely. She's earned Coach's complete gratitude, and even more, sexual interest.
Until she disappears without a trace.
With Harley missing, a happy ending might not be in the cards for the man who loves her - especially when he becomes the main suspect.

ALL OF THE STORY
NO IDEA BUT WOULD GO
I HAVE READ MOST OF SUSAN STOKER BOOKS AND I HAVE NEVER BEEN LET DOWN
I love this series so much I love all of you series both Delta Force and Seal of protection 1 too. you can feel the love in these books. I want a guy like that! I love the characters and this book has an interwoven storylines that might come out later and I'm excited to see what happens! can't wait for the next book.
You can always count on Susan Stoker to deliver incredible military romance escapism. Her books tick all the relevant criteria: sexy (check); suspense (check); alpha male (check); sweet (check).... and the list goes on. These books are filled with strong yet vulnerable characters that you cannot help but fall in love with. Just be aware, it is very difficult to put down or stop listening to these books part way through the story.
Rescuing Harley is everything you expect from Susan Stoker. Harley and Coach's story is sweet, sensitive and packed with enough sexual and suspenseful momentum to sail you through to the end. True to her usual style, Ms Stoker artfully touches on sensitive issues that affect our world today, giving an added depth and relevance to the story.
I enjoyed this book and I am already eagerly waiting for Susan Stoker's next book.
"Not very good"
Compared to the other books in this series, it's got a much more boring storyline. Very little action. No real crime, mystery or suspense. And the female character puts herself down way too much.
Love Stella's narrations! She puts so much feeling into the reading. I hate when a narrator just "reads" the book.
"Exciting Action Thriller"
Why would anyone want to jump out of a perfectly good plane? Harley and Coach are perfect for each other. They both find each other highly attractive and stay out their adventure skydiving, but don't think it's all fast paced action. You may need a kleenex, too!
this book could have shared some of her experience of being lost in the water but it didn't so I think it left a lot there was a beginning and it was in the end the middle was not there I was very disappointed in this book
"Loving the narrator, Stella Bloom"
Love all the "Protecting" and "Rescuing" Susan Stoker books. But the narrator, Stella Bloom, really adds to the experience.
I like this story I did think that the end would be about her car and a accident it was great
Recently started following Susan Stoner and have not been disappointed. The characters are someone you could really meet in every book I've read so far.
Another wonderful book from my favorite author! I loved Harley and Coach's story and continue to enjoy the interactions of all the characters. What a group! Any book by Susan Stoker is an automatic download for me and I'm enjoying books by other authors that also contain some of Susan's characters. Now I'll wait for the next book.......
I loved it. can looking forward to Hollywood's story. But when is Truck and Mary's story coming out? Love all the books.
"Adore this series"
Yes I would cause this is my favorite series of Susan Stoker.
How bad ass Harley was herself and how much Coach loved her
Where Harley and Coach have their first date playing video games
yes when no matter what Coach wouldn't give up trying to find Harley when she was missing
This is so worth a credit. You can listen to this without listening or reading the first two in the series but I bet once you listen you get hooked and want more
