Lily LeBlanc isn't versed in the art of casual sex, but after seven years in an on-again, off-again relationship, she's definitely willing to give it a shot. And who better to try it with than her best friend's boyfriend's best friend? What could possibly go wrong?
NHL player Randy Ballistic lives up to his last name on the ice and in the bedroom. His best friend and teammate has recently given up the puck bunnies and traded them in for a real girlfriend. And she just happens to have a seriously feisty, extra-hot best friend on the rebound. Randy's more than happy to be Lily's springboard back into the dating scene. But casual sex is only casual until those pesky things called emotions get involved. Once that happens, someone's bound to get pucked over.

As expected, very sweet story. I'd read Pucked so knew some of the characters, however Violet just irritated me.
The story was lovely -straight forward romance no near death experiences, just plain old feelings and good nookie. I really like the characters and it was well narrated, the Scottish guy sounded more Irish to me but it's a hard accent to replicate, esp if your an American narrator.
"Jacob Morgan doing that sex scenes was SO SEXY!"
I find it's really important for the voices to be pleasant to listen to even if I adore the story as much as I adore this one. When I got to the first time Jacob Morgan was reading a sexual scene I was "engaged" fully with the narration. The girl was great, though not as fun as book 1's female narrator, but Jacob Morgan has just knocked Sebastian York to my 2nd favorite male narrator. Fantastic!
Violet in the first and second book was absolutely hilarious!! In this book she is made out to be a super annoying dumb bimbo instead of her usual chill hilarious self. I could barely handle listening to some of her parts. She was my fav in the first two books so that was disappointing.
The female narrator sounded a teeensie bit immature at first, but then she totally grew on me and I loved her by about 10% in. I'm like that with narrators sometimes. If they have a different tone I just have to wait until my ears adjust. But truthfully, she nailed the character....the male dialogue parts, everything. I would totally listen to more of her audiobooks! She had a Mandi Moore tone about her!
The male...whew...hot hot hot! Totally balls deep hot.
The storyline was great fun. Not a whole lot of plot but just really fun character development. It was fun to see Randy's heart fall for Lily. The chemistry between them was so sweet and fun and frothy and this was overall just a solid sports romance with great narrators. Highly recommend!
At first I was about to turn off this audio and request a refund based on the female narrators voice. However I loved book 1 so much I stuck it out and kept going. Her voice grew on me and her male voice wasn't half bad. The story itself was kind of the same way, at first I wasn't too impressed but then after a while it grew on me and turned out not to be terrible, but just ok. I loved book one but this book didn't even come close for me, I don't know if it was because of the narration or the storyline or a combination of the two but I found it lacking. If you're new to the series you may enjoy it more than I did but if you are a fan of book 1 you may be disappointed as the narrators have changed and the storyline loses a little something. I'm on the fence on this one.
Umm...can I say everything and it be real? Let's be honest here: I am a Randy Ballistic fan. I have the t-shirts and the tote bags and the keychains. I #GoBALLiStic anytime this series is mentioned. Seriously, this is THE book of the series. Alex and Miller can back up, Randy is in town.
I can actually mix it up and say The Score by Elle Kennedy. I don't know what it is about the third book in a series, but these authors know exactly how to make that 3rd guy stand out. Randy is the man though!
Jacob Morgan because he's awesomesauce. Plus, he's playing my book boyfriend, Randy Ballistic. So, that goes without saying. Rose does an amazing job of performing the role of Lily though.
I read it in one sitting so I would have loved to have been able to listen to it in one sitting.
This book was cute! Lots of steamy scenes and laughs. Narration is on point! Jacob Morgan's voice is just hot. Worth the credit for sure!
"Part 3, Awesome Good!!! "
There are some spoilers.
I wanted to rate the girl narrator performance a 3 to 4.
But anyways this book was actually good it wasn't as hilarious as book 1 or funny as book 2, but it was too good to put down that's for sure. I knew that Randy and Lily was going to end up together in the end because they both were catching feelings for each other, especially how he was acting. With her around Alex and Benji and Carl or whatever, that fool name was.
Plus the end I thought for sure she wasn't going to end up pregnant lmao. When they didn't use a condom I was dying when Tim-Tom knocked on the door. Mess reminded me of Twilight scene with Bella and Edward with the bed situation and some other book I read where the guy actually broke the bed. I forgot what the book was called.
But I'm glad Randy found someone. Can't wait to read part 4, 4.1, and 4.5. I know it's going to be epic.
P. S. I was also glad that Randy let her give his pecker a lick. And liked it and got with someone who didn't judge how he pecker looked.
I enjoyed the first book but maybe this is just too silly. All the silly names for the private parts- magic marble, beaver. Wood. Just too juvenile for me
"I expected more from this author."
Let me know if you should happen to find the storyline on this clunker! I found a little bit of storyline followed by sex scene, sex scene, sex scene. The author would then give the reader a little piece of storyline followed by... You guessed it, more sex scenes. What a boring book. Save your money. I will be requesting a refund on this clunker! Frankly, I expected a hell of a lot more from this author. She should be ashamed of herself for releasing this dud!
Thank goodness the characters had the appropriate accents this time.
I have to say though, the narrator really made Violet seem obnoxious and over the top. She didn't come off that way in the first book. Then again, I guess I should say it was the author that wrote Violet's dialogue that way.
