Wolf and his fellow SEAL team members have saved many lives, and been in even more harrowing situations, but their latest mission might prove the most difficult of all. Charged with rescuing American soldier, Sergeant Penelope Turner, from the clutches of ISIS, the men infiltrate the refugee camp where she's believed to be held. The conditions are horrific, the search nearly impossible, but Penelope herself could prove the key to their success...if the SEALs can interpret her clues.
An unforgiving desert, perilous mountain terrain, a rising body count and insurgents on the hunt...all of this and more stands between the SEALs completing their mission and returning home to their women, left to bravely deal with fears of their own stateside.
Sometimes, a mission is more than one team can handle. With a little help from newfound friends, the SEALS won't stop until they've won the day. Failure is not an option.
Protecting the Future is the eighth and final book in the SEAL of Protection Series. Each book is a stand-alone, with no cliffhanger endings.

"Great end to an amazing series"
It's one of my favorites
How much the women helped each other at home while their men where away. I also loved how badass Penelope was.
She brought the characters to life for me.
I both read the kindle version and listened to the audio version on this book. This was an amazing conclusion to an awesome series. At times I was almost in tears reading/listening to this book as it was so real to me. I actually started out listening to the audio version but I couldn't wait to finish the story so ending up reading it on my kindle so I could find out what happened. Then I finished listening to it on audio. I love how she ended this series. I was saving this for when I could have both the audio and the kindle version as I started this series on audio and wanted to end it that way. I'm sad that I won't have any more new stories from this amazing group that Susan has created for us but hope to see them again in other stories she writes for us. I'm so glad I was introduced to this authors books as she has quickly become one of my favorites. She is one that writes a story that grabs you on page one and doesn't let you go till your are finished with the last page.
"I love this series!!"
This series was AWESOME!! I really liked the narrator. I like the way she changes her voice for each character, and they sound good.
"Great finish to this series."
I loved this series. the narrator is really good. moving on to her series that follow some the delta force guys you meet in this book.
"What An Awesome Series!"
Susan Stoker out did herself with this series. I'd rate it a 10 if that was available. Seals and strong women is a great combination but the stories themselves really made every book in the series shine. If you only read one series this year, consider this one!
"Fantastic story and great narrator"
This book was anxiously awaited to tie in the Protecting series and kick off the Delta series. Nice to see the couple's lives progressing and also enjoyed the rescue of Penelope. Hope her story comes soon.
Please read the Protecting series first so you know everyone's back story.
"What a good series!"
I, for one, enjoyed every book of this series and will definitely listen to them again!
"Not a standalone, not a romance"
I listened through 45% of this series recap wishing I hadn't. If you're not a fan intimately familiar with all the couples in the series, this isn't for you. While plenty of time is spent celebrating the previous books' HEAs, it's odd that there is not a new romance in this book. DNF.
"A great story"
This series has been great. I look forward to the books to explain the stories of those who have not found their other half yet.
