I love audio books and listening to them while I draw or paint. They help to level me and take away the stress while drawing.
My feeling is the story needed to be longer. I liked that the main original characters were involved from the Honor series. And I liked the new characters for the love new romance interest. But felt it fell short in both areas. The new romance was not developed for long enough and finished quickly without any conflict, or even a "I <3 you" moment - maybe that's the next book. The Cam, Blair interactions did not travel on a long enough roller-coaster to hold strong intrigue. This leaves the suspense as part and the threat from the villain on the President. Here it was very well done, and the writing in this book is very inventive, crisp and detailed around this plot. Radclyffe continues to grow in this area, as a thriller writer, with a nice twist to the ending. But as a romance it felt it needed more. The narrator Abby Craden did an excellent job, and her style and voice works very well with this series, able to cover both the harsh villains, action, and tender moments,.
love this series...but where is book 10 please
i am inlove with ur books Radclyffe. i literally live for them. perfect! just the right about of sex scenes, love etc . just perfect!!
Usually I really like the books that Radclyffe writes but I am very disappointed in the writing of this book. Very little passion and heat from the main characters as well as the new characters. Little to no action pack excitement with the story line. Radclyffe must have been in the "I have to hurry up and finish this series" mode cause that is how it read from the book and sounded in the audio book.
"Abby Craden's performance"
Excellent follow up story from book 8. Abby Craden's performance was exceptional and very entertaining.
"A Saga Continues"
Loved the continuation of Cam and Blair's love story. Felt there were just a few too many moving parts. Yet, please with the addition of Dusty and Viv into the mix. Overall, Radclyffe proves she still knows how to leave us hanging on our seats for what comes next. Definitely one of the best cliffhangers ever for Radclyffe and clearly worth the read.
