I really enjoyed this book. I have listened to quite a few audio books now and I have to say, this is one of the best. The story is fun and amusingly dramatic in places. Most importantly, it made me gasp, smile and laugh. It creates a feeling 'sofa days' with a glass of wine or a cup of tea and a box of chocolates. The narrator reads excellently and manages all the characters extremely well.
I thought I would really enjoy the book. I did really but it did not grab me like other books. The lady reading it I found annoying and her pronunication of certain words left me correcting her in my head. Nice story but all the above things spoilt it.
I found this book enjoyable but not super. It was a good backround listening book. An enjoyable story that went on a little too long. Some of it seemed a little un-necessary. I will listen to it again but only as backround noise.
What a waste of my money. The reading of this book is so hard to understand, the woman has an accent that really makes it difficult to follow the story. I will definitely listen to the books before I purchase from now on!
