Where the art of improvisation meets the art of literature.
Based on the improv game First Line, Last Line, Colin Mochrie of Whose Line Is It Anyway? fame, puts a unique spin on works of classic literature. Taking the first line and last line from classic books and poems, Colin recasts these familiar stories in his own trademark offbeat style:
These stories, and many more, prove that no literary masterpiece is too big, or too small, for the improvisational comedy treatment.

"Saw the author and knew id love it"
With Colin you can't go wrong, love the comedy and creativeness he brings to everything he does
"Thank you, Colin"
thank you for not putting out yet another weak comedian memoir. this is so creative, brilliant and laugh out loud funny. the first audio book that had me actually laugh out loud. l hope you have another one in you!
"A Canadian classic of surreal literature"
This is a brilliant piece of surreal literature and a hilarious practice at improve. I've listened to it twice and it holds up.
Colin Mochrie has a most enjoyable twisted sense of humor.
Fractured Fairy tales meets the Twilight Zone.
He has a wonderful voice that expresses well the humor in his stories.
A series of short stories that are quite imaginative, enjoyable and engaging. Can be listened to at one sitting or in short spurts, story by story.
"Colin- I'm sorry but you have work to do"
Fresh originality, stories coming from "left field" (sorry Col, don't know the hockey term). Not all stories were equally hilarious, but enough were that I couldn't stop laughing on some of them. My favorite- the take-off on Emily Bronte: "A Tale of Two Critters." As the new reality started dawning as to who the protagonist is, all of the pieces previously presented feel neatly into place- a full laugh with each detail. Sorry can't tell you about it; it would spoil the revelation.
He brings life to all of the characters, even himself in the forward.
I couldn't wait to get to the next story.
I can't wait for the --- sequel??? Actually, anywhere Colin wants to take his WORK, I will follow. If you know his real work, you will enjoy this. If you have never heard of him, you are in for a real treat.
