Summary
Once a devoted children's librarian, Jane Jameson now works at a rundown occult bookstore. Once a regular gal, she's now a vampire. And instead of a bride, she's an eternal bridesmaid -- which leads her to question where exactly her relationship with her irresistibly sexy sire, Gabriel, is headed. Mercurial, enigmatic, apparently commitment-phobic vampires are nothing if not hard to read. While Jane is trying to master undead dating, she is also donning the ugliest bridesmaid's dress in history at her best friend Zeb's Titanic-themed wedding. Between a freaked-out groom-to-be, his hostile werewolf in-laws, and Zeb's mother, hell-bent on seeing Jane walk the aisle with Zeb, Jane's got the feeling she's just rearranging the proverbial deck chairs.
Meanwhile, Half Moon Hollow's own Black Widow, Jane's Grandma Ruthie, has met her match in her latest fiance. He smells like bad cheese and has a suspicious history of dead spouses. But Jane's biting her tongue. After all, would a nice girl really think she has a future with a vampire?

Good story very well performed
2nd in this series and well performed by Amanda Ronconi who's voice and characterization make this a joy to listen to.

Light hearted and funny
Another solid 4 star read from molly harper. The books never fail to have me chuckling, love the half moon hollow and naked werewolf books.

Great book
Loved book two in this series, Amanda did a great narrating of the book. I love Grandma Ruthie and that she met her match in her beau. It was good to see how Jane and Gabriel's 'relationship' unfolds amoungst the going-ons in town.

Don't be put off by the cover!
Only bought this as it was cheap but very happy that I did. From the cover it looked like a bodice ripper which I'm not keen on but it turned out to be a great balanced book of the complicated problems encountered by a woman who is trying to be excepted in her family and community after being turned. The plot is good with great humour harmonised with the dangers of "living" with the disability of being dead. The word "spazy" should never be used in this day and age though!! t is far from acceptable!

Excellent!
Absolutely love Molly Harper’s books. Funny, entertaining and gripping! Can’t get enough of her books. This whole series is amazing and fun to read and listen to.

Keep listening
Yes it's a slightly predictable story and you can see the ending coming before the characters but that is part of the charm of these books. I listen when i'm doing busy work to make the time pass quicker. They are easy to follow, lots of LOL moments and you fall in love with all the characters!
