Publisher's Summary

Megan: I wasn't supposed to end up in an outlaw biker's bed. I wasn't supposed to love it. I definitely wasn't supposed to crave his fiery kisses, beg for his touch, or ache to know the man behind the evil-looking ink and scarred smirk.

I was the good girl. He was the monster. Then everything changed. I became a prisoner. I prayed for Skin to save me. He did - and he kept me for himself.

Skin: I went psycho when I saw her in that dirty whorehouse. She's everything I never wanted, a spitfire with a body meant for claiming.

Then she told me her secret, and I almost needed a straitjacket. I saved her life instead. I gave her a second chance.

I know she's a marked woman, caught between my club and the bastards I killed. Damn if I won't make her wear my name, even if she's trouble on two long legs I can't stop picturing wrapped around me. I'll brand her, bed her, own her, no matter how much hell I'll pay.

Contains mature themes.

    Story
    "Dark Knight On A Harley....."

....Not your typical Knight in shiny armor!

OMGosh! Nicole Snow takes us on another MC adventure with a plot that's suspenseful raw, gritty, sometimes crude, and touches on human trafficking. However, there's an awesome HEA, and lot's of sizzling sex.

    Some spoilers/teasers:
With a heartbreaking, and gut wrenching start, Megan finds herself in he**. She's been kidnapped and held against her will. Her captor has plans for her, and Megan begins to give up hope of every being free until a biker comes in asking question.

When Skin's MC crew does a raid at a local "hot spot," he notices the pimp takes extra special care of one of the girls, and leaves him wondering what is so special about her. When he demands time alone with this girl, the owner tries to refuse, but when Skin's man handles the pimp, he allows Skin to go into Megan's room alone. When he first lays eyes on Megan, he knows she's not the typical junkie or like the other "girls" and starts to ask question. What Megan reveals, is so hard to believe he is stunned; however, he makes a promise to Megan. He'll check out her story, and if what she tells him is true, he'll come back for her.

From this point, the plot turns dangerous, has lots of twist and turns, and kept me hanging on each word.

Maxine Mitchell and Joe Arden are OUTSTANDING narrators. Maxine narrates with such passion, she really nails all emotions, from gut wreathing moments to the sexy scenes flawlessly! Joe does an amazing job portraying the dominate and gruff male characters.

Can't wait for more audiobooks by Nicole Snow!

"good until the last few chapters"

The last few chapters were painful, right when Meg and Skin get caught by a rival bike gang.

    "Not my cup of tea..."

Repetitive terminology, incomplete characters and one of those books you finish just to get it over with.
I didn't get the sense of a lot of depth or interest in the characters by the author.

    "Sizzling!"

Another home run from Nicole Snow. I loved this book and didn't want it to end. My only complaint is that the sizzling sex scenes took a little too long to start up but it more than made up for it when they did. This book is well worth the money. The narrator did a great job so buying in book form or Audible is a must. I want me some Skin!

    "Horrible"

I don't really buy into any story about a virgin who has been kidnapped and forced into sexual slavery giving up her virginity to Someone else who forces her to remain captive. Suddenly after months of abuse she is ready to do the very act she is repeatedly forced to do not only willingly but eagerly and the one to initiate it?

After one night of sex with him she is obsessed and wants to spend all her time with him?

He on the other hand is a biker only used to a 1% lifestyle disrespecting women and speaks to her very
Abusively and sexually violent. But now he can't think of anything but making her his old lady. Huh? There is zero story line of developing any kind of relationship between them at all. He sort of rescues her but instead keeps her captive to financially benefit his club and that's the entire relationship.

I was very very disappointed with this story. I listened to others in this series and this one was far below the others. The male performance was ok. Not overly fond of Maxine Mitchell as a performer

    "Some like it hot!"

If you like it hot? You'll love this book. Story was great, kept my attention. Lots of hot, sex scenes. Lots! Female narrator was amazing doing both voices. The male narrator was great for the male voice but kind of creeps me out doing the women's voice. But all and all worth listening to. 4 stars

Really corny at times. No chemistry or sense. Just really not a well put together story. At times it was just awkward to listen.

    Story
"Way too much implicit sexuality in this book"
Is there anything you would change about this book?

Yes, more substance, less pornographic content.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

An average read. I almost returned this book because it wasn't what the description of the book was.

Have you listened to any of Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    No I hadn't and I probably won't now.

Was Never Love an Outlaw worth the listening time?

    Not really, no.

    Any additional comments?

If you like sexuality explicit (and I MEAN SEXUALLY EXPLICIT) descriptions of people having sexual encounters, you'll probably enjoy this book. At my age though, (over 55) it just wasn't my cup of tea.

    "Getting worse"

I really tried but Arden does not sound like a female and Mitchell is a horrible male voice. I like the MC books so I guess I will just keep reading. When will the publishers of the audible books learn. This is entertainment. They really need to treat it as such.
