There are three things you should know about Quinn Sullivan:
1) He is madly in love with Janie Morris
2) He's not above playing dirty to get what (or who) he wants
3) He doesn't know how to knit.
After just five months of dating Janie, Quinn - former Wendell and unapologetic autocrat - is ready to propose marriage. In fact he's more than ready. If it were up to Quinn, he would efficiently propose, marry, and beget Janie with child all in the same day - thereby avoiding the drama and angst that accompanies the four stages of prematrimony: engagement; meeting the parents; bachelor/bachelorette party; and overblown, superfluous wedding day traditions. But Janie, much to Quinn's dismay, tosses a wrench in his efficacious endeavors and challenges him to prove his devotion by going through the matrimonial motions, no matter how minute and mundane.
Will Quinn last until the wedding day? Or will he yield to his tyrant impulses?
Regardless, one thing is for certain: Quinn Sullivan will have to learn to expect the Spanish Inquisition (i.e., the unexpected) if he plans to have and keep Janie Morris as his wife.
You must listen to Neanderthal Seeks Human first before listening to this book.
This book is written in first person with alternating POVs (Janie Morris and Quinn Sullivan, but more Janie than Quinn).

"Intelligent and funny love story💕"
Sebastian York is the best! Wish he had a bigger role. The overall book was cute.. It's not too detailed in the "bed"..but some prefer that.
Love love love Penny Reid, Sebastian York, and Jennifer Grace. Always listen to whatever they put out.
"Love, love, love."
A well written, well preformed book. I bought this as soon as I finished the first one. Janie and her friends crack me up! Quin added great balance suavely sexy and funny too! Third installment coming up!
"laugh out loud fun book!"
I liked this book a lot. I like the intelligence of the characters. Bringing up real situations, not being lust struck and forgetting themselves.
I guffawed quite a few times. Glad I was in my car or people might have thought I needed a trip to the Looney bin!
"Love, LOVE, LOVE! This Series & this Story "
If you're not familiar with the author, Penny Reid, you are in for a treat. Her novels are sweet, quirky, HILARIOUS, and SMART. It's not your typical steamy romance where there is so much steam, that it's the only plot line, and it's not your rated PG RomCom either. It's a beautiful balance with a great story.
For this story to be appreciated, definitely read or listen to Neanderthal Seeks Human (Book One) first, and I highly recommend reading Friends Without Benefits (Book 2) as this story is like an amazing "behind the scenes" for the both stories.
Both narrators were great, it's a great story, it's just great, great, amazeballs all the way through! I'm so happy it was finally released on audio!
"Exactly what it should be."
Jennifer Grace simply is Janie though she is able to balance all the other characters with distinction. Sebastian York is the perfect Quinn. I will be listening to this book over and over again!
Absolutely perfect. Shockingly as good as the original which is one of my favorites. I love her quirks!!!! And Penny Reid's grasp of Aspergers. It's spot on.
"York as Quinn? I think I hurt my Kindle clicking"
I had started to read this one when it came out, but it was a DNF. Other reviewers (on the Amazon side) mentioned the Vegas scene, and that was pretty much my "ugh" moment too -- I loved NSH, but the humor in the other books just isn't my cup of tea. (Except the Chemical series. I loved the first book even though I wanted her to punch the hero by the end)
However. When I saw Sebastian York was narrating Quinn? I clicked the add to cart so fast my kindle might have a dent in it. Yes I finished the book this time, I LAUGHED listening to him read the Vegas scene (The events still made me roll my eyes BUT -- it's York reading, you know?) and it was absolutely worth buying for some more Janie&Quinn&York time.
Jennifer Grace wasn't the voice I had in my head for Janie, I was thinking Janie would be more cerebral & sweet, I guess like Kasha Kengsington in LAST KISS, or Erin Mallon in the Addicted Series, but she did a great job with all the voices and accents.
OH! That reminds me. Guess who speaks ITALIAN? YEAH!!!!! Mmmhmm. You'll enjoy listening to this one. Trust me ;)
So great in audio form.
Both nararrators where awesome. Janie really came to life and Quinn, well I have one complaint for Quinn.... There was not enough chapters from his point of view! Quinns narration was awesome and for me brought a perfect reflection of how Quinn adores Janie.
If you enjoy quirky smart romances you can not go wrong with Penny Reid and all the Knitters!
