When Michelle Collins accidentally walks into the men's restroom at a holiday party, she doesn't expect it to end with a toe-tingling kiss under the mistletoe. But the magic of the moment quickly dies when she realizes the mystery man is Austin O'Neal, the new marketing director of the pharmaceutical company she's sworn to destroy. Michelle will do anything to protect animals from unfair lab testing - even go up against the first man to make her feel alive. With the ink on his divorce papers barely dry, Austin is struggling to help his three children adjust to a new town as he tries to adjust to a new job - one that comes with a lot of baggage that Michelle helped create. Falling for the strong-willed animal rights activist who is ruining the company image is definitely not in the plans. When Michelle's dog is hit by a car and Austin is the unexpected hero, their perceptions of each other - and the causes they fight for - are challenged. Can one impulsive kiss be the foundation for a happily ever after?

A good story is like a well balanced delicious feast. It has a little this and a dash of that and.... Voila!... magic happens. The plot thickens and the reader finds themselves in the grips of an entertaining tale.
This is one such concoction. Two characters meet and there is an instant attraction. Then life intervened and the spices are thrown in with a whole slew of seemingly insurmountable hurdles. The result is a delightful, drama filled bite of escapism.
Michelle and Austin are well written characters that most readers can relate to. Their story is filled with the insecurities, concerns, beliefs and challenges one might expect when one encounters a great love when least expected and most needed.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story and look forward to others in the series.

"Cute Contemporary Romance"
This is a light romance by Lindzee Armstrong. The narration is great and brings the story to life. It was an enjoyable story. I always seem to enjoy this author's writting style.
The main character has some strong morals and is part of a group trying to stop animal testing. Her stand on animal testing was understandable but I found her too judgmental at times. She kisses a man and later finds out he works for the "Enemy"!
Very clean Romance with some coincidences and unexpected moments. Overall a great addition to the series.

"Short & Sweet"
Short sweet and beautifully narrated by Tiffany Williams.
Michelle has a beautiful and kind soul, even if I did find her a little annoying at times, LOL. Tiffany has some of the best range when narrating and I thoroughly enjoy listening to her. And who doesn't love a HEA.

"Wonderful Light Romance"
I received this audiobook free for an honest review. I have read many of Lindzee Armstrong's books, and have loved them all. This is no exception. Her mastery of true, down-to-earth romance is uncomparable. There is no anxiety when hearing her stories. It is light, fun and often funny. She has a great sense of humor as well as a serious story. The narrator is perfect. Her voice is very pleasant and she is able to separate the characters and their personalities. Great choice for narrator. Although this is a series, you can read each of them separately. No cliff hangers here. Love her work.
Excellent character development coupled with delicious conflict. Most Romance/ chic-lit is so formulaic , for me the trick tor enjoyment is to not look for the each tic in the formula but enjoy the conflict and eventual resolution as the story unfolds, This story filled the bill and Tiffany Williams narration wrapped everything up in a nice Holiday package, I was provided a copy of this audio book in exchange for an unbiased review.
Overall very entertaining and enjoyable. A quick, easy, sweet and clean HEA romance. Little bit of a different take on the backgrounds of the two main characters. Kind of a politically correct statement going on in the story regarding animal testing. It gave the story a bit of a more serious tone at times.
Even though this book is part of a series it can absolutely be listened to as a stand alone story. Talk about opposites attracting. Michelle and Austin are at opposite ends of the spectrum but some how they work.
Tiffany Williams did a really good job with the narration. Pleasant voice. Clearly spoken with a smooth even pace. Great character voices. She was able to bring the characters to life with her narration.
Occasional fluctuation in sound quality. The sound would fade then go back to normal volume.

"Good Clean sweet Story"
I got this book via audiobook boom. I enjoyed this book very much. The narration was spot on and the story was quick paced and sweet. I liked how they met and then interacted with each other once they found out who each was. Loved the interaction between the other characters as well. Overall this was a nice feel-good story that helped me sleep with sweet dreams.
"Nice clean Christmas romance where morals matter."
Miss Match is a nice clean romance by Lindzee Armstrong set during Christmas time. The story centers around Michelle Collins, a late-20's elementary school teacher, who after kissing a stranger under the mistletoe at her cousin's holiday party, dreams of romance. It turns out the handsome man, Austin O’Neal, is the father of one of her new students, and the new marketing director of a company she’s sworn to destroy because it runs tests on animals. The premise is a nice one and I was happy how it ended with Austin taking the morale high ground.
Although marketed as the fourth story in the No Match for Love series, the only mention of Toujour, the matchmaking company featured in the first three books, is one sentence where Michille tried it but cancelled her membership after a few dates. None of the characters from the first three books make even a brief appearance, which is a shame. What made the first three books so good was the great character development and the interplay and interaction among the characters, which was missing from this story. Plus, this book should have been marketed as a .5 or a stand alone short story. It's length is only half as long as the prior three stories in the No Match for Love series.
Tiffany Williams narrated this audiobook, as she did with the prior books in the series. After speeding up this narration to double speed, I appreciated Tiffany's style, which is very natural with smooth overtones and subtle character nuances. I started listening to this book in the early morning and I was a mess towards the end. Narration is amazing and the story is enjoyable. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.
"a great love story"
it's a quick listen. I normally like longer books because it feels like just when you get into it, they are done. but this one didn't leave me feeling disappointed. I enjoyed it and it's a great read for any time of year not just around Christmas. the narration was fabulous, well done. I'd recommend it to my friends and family, a great listen while you are wrapping presents.
