From #1 New York Times best-selling author Colleen Hoover, a passionate tale of friendship, betrayal, and romance.
At twenty-two years old, Sydney has a great life: She's in college, working a steady job, in love with her wonderful boyfriend, Hunter, and rooming with her best friend, Tori. But everything changes when she discovers Hunter's cheating on her - and she is left trying to decide what to do next.
Sydney becomes captivated by Ridge, her mysterious neighbor. She can't take her eyes off him or stop listening to his playing his guitar every day out on his balcony. And there's something about Sydney that Ridge can't ignore, either. When their inevitable encounter happens, they soon find themselves needing each other in more ways than one...
From the author of the New York Times best sellers Slammed, Point of Retreat, Hopeless, This Girl, and Losing Hope, Maybe Someday is destined to be another best seller and long-lasting fan favorite.

No 1 in Romance
They did a great job.
Maybe someday gave me an emotional roller coaster ride.
It will break your heart and makes u laugh at the same time.
I never read the same book twice, but I will definitely do it with this one.
Kudos to the Narrator, they had done an amazing job.
It is always nice to come across a story that surprises you. This book did. The author had clearly done their research - no spoilers.
The story is subtle and romantic with some funny and tender moments .
Narrators are awesome, especially Angela! LOVED IT THOROUGHLY. I already read the ebook version so I knew the story by heart. But I wanted to listen to Sydney and Ridge's emotional dilemma. I wanted to feel it. And I could feel it, in my bones. Thank you so much for this experience! I love you, Colleen. I love Angela and Zachary. Their voices blends with each other which is so amazing to the ears. Lastly, I love you, Audible.
Possible, I thought the narrators did well and got the characters feelings and situations perfectly. There were times where Zachary Webber was trembling as if almost crying because Ridge was. Very well done and very well read.
The story was wonderful and unique with the romance yet still has the cheesy romance stuff which I felt okay with in this book. Because of the situation with Ridge and Sydney, we saw romance in a completely new perspective that was refreshing!
Yup, loved it! Worked really well together! Would love to read more they've narrated and lucky for me Angela also narrated Hopeless by Colleen Hoover.
Yes, when Ridge cried but I won't say what about.
Just a really good book and I'm glad for my first audiobook it was an enjoyable one.
This book is sensational and completely unpredictable. The characters, the story you just identify with it and you have instantly fallen in love with the characters i recommend this book for all romance lovers.
A story of a deaf young musician that concentrates on his sense of touch and his relationships, but makes nothing of building a visual for him or the listener. If I had to choose which character I would be, it would be Maggie, as at least she gets to go out of the apartment, the place where 99.9% of the book is set. The characterisation was weak with vague nods to back stories, and the repetitive use of the Heart motif gets boring. No twists in the story to surprise and an utterly obvious ending. Perhaps if I was 15 or 16 this love story would have me in raptures, but I'm not so this one is not for me.

Well slap me sideways and call me Sheila, she's only gone and bleedin done it again!
Ms Hoover has once again taken my tiny little heart and ripped it up into a thousand little pieces, and then just to make sure that she causes enough damage, she jumped up and down on it too!

This is a book that will go straight into my favorites list and I will definitely listen to again.
Listening to this book made it so much more, and the 2 narrators were brilliant, especially as it could be soo badly done considering the subject matter.
So after my gushing about the book and fangirling a little about Ms Hoover (as far as I'm concerned she can do no wrong) I shall proceed to tell you about this little book of gushiness. (is that actually a word?)
On the day of her 22nd birthday she is waiting for her boyfriend Hunter and her best friend Tori do something special for her........They certainly do something she won't forget.
She sits on her balcony every night at 8 waiting for the man to come out and play his guitar, she doesn't know the songs he is playing or even the words, so she just taps her toes along with the music, and makes her own words up, until he notices her doing this.
They exchange looks and he gives his number by writing it on a piece of paper, he texts her then, and asks for her to share her lyrics, this is when we meet Ridge.

Swoon swoon swoon .......... That is all I have to say .......... oh yeah also he is a bloody nice bloke.
Love Warren he was funny and loveable and I also had a soft spot for his bitch of a girlfriend Bridget. (Her thinking that Sydney was deaf for half of the book and shouting at her was hilarious)
Maggie was by far the nicest character I have ever met in a book. She was beautiful, kind and loved everyone.
She was the character with the most to lose but also the most to gain and I LOVED her!
This is another gutwrencher I warn you guys, I'm missing out a huge spoiler that is an intricate part of this book, I'm not sure if others have put.
Listen to the songs and become part of something beautiful happening before your eyes.
Enjoy this book and prepare to be as captivated by it as I was.
""Listening" with Your Heart"
First off, I have to applaud Colleen Hoover for creating the unconventional main character of Ridge who is strong, positive, talented and happens to be deaf.
I listened to this story critically because I am fluent in sign language and work with children who have a hearing loss. I was uncertain how authentic Ridge's character would be and I couldn't help but wonder how his hearing loss would be perceived by others who consider themselves deaf. I am sure there are varying responses and opinions to his musical abilities and ways in which he communicated. I'm remaining neutral because I believe Hoover created an exceptional and loveable character and his inability to hear makes him extraordinary. I don't think she intended for Ridge to be typical in any way.
Sydney's character started off a bit shaky for me. I know she found herself in circumstances that made her angry and that fueled her to be a bit irrational. Name calling and punching people was immature (to a degree) and I thought this might be something that continued throughout the novel. I'm happy to say that it didn't. There's a lot of wavering between right and wrong in her mind and I found myself appreciating the ways in which rationalized and justified her feelings and actions. It all made sense whether you liked it or not.
I'm usually not interested in novels that include a love triangle, but this story wasn't what I expected. It had a strong undercurrent of good morals and respect with a focus on the internal, not the external attractiveness of a person. The messages in this story are also good ones: "listening" to the heart, not needing to be a hero to a woman who is already a heroine, giving yourself freedom and time to be alone to figure out what is right, etc.
As with her previous books, Hoover writes with great levels of emotion, angst, and humor (loved the pranks) not to mention that addictive quality that makes her books un-put-down-able. She takes what could be very predictable and twists it into something that is unique and bittersweet.
A bonus to this novel is the fact that it has an original soundtrack. All those songs Ridge and Sydney wrote are actual songs by Griffin Peterson. While I didn't purchase the Maybe Someday album, I did listen to all the samples on iTunes and found them to be a very complimentary, sounding better than I imagined them in my own mind. How cool is that?
Lastly, I have to say that the narrators for this book were really good, especially Zachary Webber who read as Ridge and really captured his quiet strength.
"Definitely my new favourite book!!"
This book is by far the best I've ever read, it's so captivating with the emotional roller coaster of a storyline that tugs on your heartstrings I could read it again and again! The fact that there's a soundtrack to accompany it just takes this story to another level completely and it really draws you in being able to listen to the lyrics they write together put into actual songs instead of having them read by the narrator a bit awkwardly. This book is just on a completely different dimension and I would highly recommend it as it just has everything you could want from a story rolled into one, it's just sad when it comes to an end!
"Zachary Webber is Awesome"
He has the absolute best voice. I loved this book, great story, great pace. Highly recommend.
"Book hang over after listening to this story!!!"
Incredible, Mind-blowingly Awesomeness
This novel Maybe Someday just blew my mine. I love everything about it from the beginning to the end. The story between Ridge and Sydney is so heartfelt that I felt everything they did while reading their story. Getting to hear the songs when I read them was incredible. I had bought Griffin Peterson's album before this book came out and I loved the songs and they way he sings them. Now reading the meaning of the songs brings happy tears in my eyes. I recommend buying the album and listen to it while reading this book because it brings the story to life. Yes this book will have you in tears and while reading it you will be consumed by the story and not be able to do anything until you have read the whole book. I love that Colleen Hoover writes these wonderful stories and her books are for every age group. Her stories are focused on the storyline and about real life situations which makes her stories the greatest.
None to compare. This story is unique.
I have not listened to these narrators before. I loved the way they made these characters come to life and I felt emotions that I didn't when I read the story. You could hear the heartbreak when it happened and it made me feel a deeper emotion to the characters.
Loved everything about this book and it is one of my favorites. Yes I cried and laughed. My emotions were everywhere.
I love this story that Colleen Hoover created. I recommend that everyone who listens or reads this story, please listen to the songs that are in the book which is song by Griffin Peterson. He has a whole album called Maybe Someday which is the same name as the book.
"I absolutely loved this book"
Ridge has a really hard time between choosing between his long time love and the one his heart wants. I really respected his character for fighting his feelings and being loyal. Yes he could of handled things better but he didn't.
This book it really worth the credit.
"Very Good Story"
There are a lot of 5 star reviews for this book both here and on amazon and I agree with almost of them. This book has a very good story line.
Maybe Someday was almost entirelly written in the stream of conscienceless style and I have always found that style very hard going. Added to that is that there is so much angst in this story that I felt like I was running out of breath a couple of times. All that angst kept accumulating in my brain the way mud accumulates on your boots does when you walk across a muddy field after a wet spell.
On the up side I really liked the characters in this story and thought it was beautifully read. Both narraters did a wonderful job of breathing life into them. But I didn't want to spend so much time in Ridge and Sydney's heads. I wanted the story to be more about what they were actually doing and less time about what was going their heads.
Wow, I could not put this down. Great story and characters. There were funny moments as well as heart wrenching moments. Fabulous novel idea to incorporate the music within the storytelling! It worked wonderfully! Great job Ms. Hoover! You did not disappoint! Can't wait for your next one.
"Colleen Hoover does not disappoint!!"
I have been on pins and needles waiting for the release of this book! It was so worth the wait and I could not stop listening once I started. I sacrificed an entire night’s sleep to go on this wonderful ride with Sydney and Ridge. The addition of having a soundtrack to the book was so amazing! Griffin Peterson brings all the songs he wrote in collaboration with Colleen Hoover to life. You MUST purchase the album if you are going to listen to or read this book. I guarantee it will be on repeat for days after you finish the story!!
"OVERALL A BEAUTIFUL STORY!! GREAT HEA!!!!"
It always is, but only listened!!!
The loyalty and love of these friendships and heartfelt emotion!
They were perfect...they brought the book to life!
I did laugh a bit..and had the over all feels for both Ridge and Sydney!!
This was a buddy listen with my friend Pam...she loves her some Colleen Hoover..and this is the second book by Colleen that I have listened too. I cant say I loved this book, but I liked it quite a bit...the characters are a bit young for me...but the storyline was good...and it was unique to have a Deaf main character that was also a musician, I find that quite refreshing!
Sydney finds out her boyfriend and roomie are getting it on behind her back and punches them right in the face..Its her Birthday even...that really sucked for her...she is so heart broken! Ridge is a neighbor and they have been kind of friendly...she has even helped him write a few songs for his band...even if she doesn't feel they are very good...Ridge is quite impressed with them though....he likes Sydney and rescues her out of the rain after her confrontation with her roomie and Bf. He offers her a place to stay, and they have undeniable chemistry...when she finds out Ridge is deaf, she doesn't even bat an eye...that also impresses Ridge...but things get messy...Ridge has a long time wonderful girlfriend...but the heart wants, what the heart wants...
Good story, great narration and well worth your time and a credit!!!
Oh and there is a soundtrack that goes with the book, that is quite good and brings a little something extra to the story, I thought that was great too!!!
Its one of the best of this type of book. I read many different books but this was really well done. If you haven't, my suggestion would be to read Maybe Not first. The books are the same story but from different parts of the relation of all the characters. Plus, Maybe Not ends where her story begins.
The relationship between the two characters was amazing.
Read it, you wont regret it.
