Ever wanted to fast-forward to your happily ever after?
My name is Mackenzie Locke, and I'm a loveaholic. I haven't got a handle on men. Not even a little bit. So I staged an intervention and booked me and my two best friends into Love Rehab, complete with a love shaman, horse therapy and a bunch of stones that promise to change my life. I'm not leaving until I'm cured.
Lesson one: the first night of your stay, don't have a one-night stand with the hottest guy you've ever seen in your life. Fail.
Lesson two: make sure your one-night stand isn't planning on sticking around, teasing you, tempting you right back into his Levis. Big fail.
Lesson three: Whoops. I forgot this one. I was too busy daydreaming about Blake McKenna's mouth on mine and the way his five o'clock shadow feels on my thighs. Epic fail.
So maybe I'm not the best student. Maybe I wasted my time and money on Love Rehab. But I can't help that I want to spend every minute with Blake, naked under the stars. Perhaps he can teach me every lesson I ever needed to learn.
A sexy stand-alone romance.

I haven't come across a Louise Bay book I didn't like, her characters are smart, sexy and fun, her stories hook me in from the beginning and Love Unexpected (Love Rehab) did just that. Mackenzie and Blake are two people that are so much alike, both of them actually want the same thing, even though they don't realise it. During her time in "rehab" Mackenzie learns she has to ask for what she wants, not do what she thinks others want her to do. Blake helps her to understand her own needs, whilst also learning from Mackenzie that he too needs to alter his life. When a one night stand turns into something more, something completely unexpected happens. With some super sexy scenes, some fun scenes, and a few emotional scenes, this book is just the right amount of everything to get yourself lost in.
Andi Arndt nailed it.
"Funny, light, and panty melting!"
5 Crazy Ass Must Read Stars!!!!!
I enjoyed reading this. I am so glad I read this because it was just what I needed after a binge on angst-filled drama. There was none of that here. This was a journey on self-discovery splattered with humor, personal character drama, and a new BBF that will have you changing panties several times. This was different from what I've read by Louise Bay in the past. And I liked it. It was funny, light, and those fan-yourself worthy moments were oh so steamy and a whole lot of dirty.
It kind of reminded of me of that Sandra Bullock movie, 21 Days except it wasn't detox rehab, this was Love Rehab.
I look forward to reading more from Louise Bay as she took me by surprise with this book. I'm hoping that this is beginning of a series because I need Kennedy and Rose's stories. I'm such a book whore like that.
"The main character is so irritating!"
Don't get me wrong I can see why the main character would start of with the mind set he was in at the beginning of the book but I found it really hard and extremely irritating to get through her complaining about her life plan 😒 other than that I found the book to be somewhat enjoyable
"Should I Scratch My Watch or Wind My Head?"
I really enjoyed this lighthearted, endearing romance. The colloquialisms were really cute. OK so tell me I wasn't the only one to do this but Christie Oklahoma sounded like such a beautiful place that I googled it and found it had a population of 218. I guess it's one those unknown beauties. But back to the review -- I felt the chemistry between McKenzie and Blake from the beginning so it made the story flow really well with lots of emotions. Andi Arndt did an amazing job expressing all the angst that seem to drive McKenzie -- love her as a narrator. I also enjoyed Jeremy York's solid performance. Great choice for narrators as they were able to put the steam in the hot sex scenes. Louise Bay is now on my list of favorite authors and I can't wait to get to the next erotic listen.
Definitely worth the credit. I have listened to and enjoyed all the audio books available by Louise Bay.
"It was ok."
It was a nice story but enough already with the sex! Too much time spent on describing it in awkward detail. And the characters kinda annoyed me with their stupid thinking. And I have trouble with being in love after 4 days
I love Andi Arndt! She always does great but, Jeremy York's voice is nothing like Sebastian York's!!
That is all....
"I enjoyed the book"
Every girl comes to a point that they need to self discover. I love how she lost herself and had to face that she needed to change the way she saw love.
When the girls had to lift the leg of the horse by telling the truth.
They always do a good job.
Based upon other Louise Bay books, I had slightly higher expectations. The story was ok, somewhat predictable. The narration team was below expectations, the female narrator was terrific, the male was only ok.
Although the storyline was cute, this wasn't my favorite love story. However it was a well written book. I didn't care for the male's voice at all. It was too feminine for me. However, I took a chance because I really enjoy Andi Arbdt as the female narrator.
A sweet story that left me with plenty of happy heart feels! This is my first book by Louise Bay and I really enjoyed her writing style - the story was well paced and the banter between the characters was witty! A great book for when you want something light without huge amounts of angst!
"The Male Narrator 😬"
Okay, I had to stop listening to this book after the first sex scene. The male narrator has a creepy AF voice! Like he is a total creeper. I thought I was listening to a Ted Bundy book instead of a romance novel. Yikes. I have committed Jeremy Yorks name to memory and i won't be buying another romance with his name on it. I would buy a horror with him reading it maybe. Creepy creepy 👀
