"A beautifully woven tale of love and loss that breaks your heart and rebuilds it. I couldn't put it down." (Liz Fenwick, author of The Cornish House)
"Letters to the Lost pulsates with life, offering a vibrant love story that transcends time and the heartbreak of war." (Kate Alcott, author of The Dressmaker)
Like a good old fashioned story,or a true crime book. Something not drawn out or a slow storyline.
Definitely recommend gripping till the end
First chapter a bit strange but then great.
So sad in parts but two lovely stories in different eras bought together well.

Voices and story read well.
All of it moved me
This was such a beautiful gentle story of love. It moves between 1940's and present day and the stories become intertwined! Narration was excellent!
My name is Julie and I'm a middle aged woman who enjoys good writing, and good narration.
Not really, I got hooked but rather against my best judgement.
She had a good voice , I doubt I'd have made it through a paper version, just flipped to the end.
Not really, I didn't get a feeling that much research into the period had been done, or feel transported. It's two rather soppy love stories separated by time but connected by a house and some letters. If you like rather silly love stories you might enjoy it.
You get caught up in the story, and it must be a tribute to the author you feel the need to know what happens, even though it's not a terribly good book, I would not be tempted to read another by the author.
