Enraged and embittered, he has no hope of escape - until a rich merchant's wife offers him freedom. In exchange he agrees to smuggle a virtuous young woman out of a harem and onto a ship bound for England, unaware the real danger lies in the bond forged between him and his fiery charge. Desperate to turn him from his course, she reveals her identity but succeeds only in gaining his contempt. Now that he knows the truth, will he ever feel for her all she feels for him? And will it be enough for her to forsake her world to live in his?

    "Interesting"

Over all the storyline is good and I enjoyed it, however you can tell this is a rewritten story that was most likely cleaned up. The characters are too intimate and the original storyline shows through.
It's not my favorite but it's good.

    "Lady of Fire"

A great book and as always perfectly heartfelt narration by Mary Sarah Agliotta! The start of the book is a little slow, especially in comparison to other works by Tamara Leigh. However, the later half of the book returns to a faster pace with an exciting and riveting ending. I give it 4 stars instead of five just for the slower start.

    "Great book!"

This was a great book. I did get frustrated with hero and heroin, but it was good.
    The narration was spot on.

"A repeating storyline with 24 chapters!"

I was very disappointed in the failure of the author to create characters with substance. The worst book selection I have made in a long time.
