Retired Navy SEAL Chris Cassidy knows the bro code: no messing around with teammates' sisters. But Chris never was one for following rules. Besides, Rick's gorgeous sister, Darci, is worth breaking a few rules for.
Darci Mann is tired of being alone. Since Zane, the bad boy SEAL she formerly had a crush on, fell in love with someone else, and her best friend, Ali, found her own happy ending, Darci's feeling her single status extra keenly. Though she suspects her brother's buddy Chris would be willing to change that...if she decided to let him.
When a routine assignment turns deadly and Chris switches from charming joker to trained killer, willing to kill or die to protect her, Darci might have to reevaluate her feelings about the perpetual bachelor.

I like all your books. I especially like your readers Craig Jessen and Rebecca Estrella. I have not listened to some books because of the reader.
"Another great addition to the Hot Seals series! "
Profile- Ricks sister, Darci, is trying to get over her crush on Ricks fellow team member Zane. GAPS operative Chris Cassidy has long harbored feelings for Darci. Assigned to Florida Keys on a GAPS job, Darci accompanies Chris as cover story & visial support. She initiates a fling with Chris but tells him after the fact that it ends with the job. They encounter a spot of cocktail cruise piracy which Chris efficiently dispatches. They return home and Chris turns down Darci's booty call -all or nothing. Didnt particularly like Darci as a person, too self centred but Chris's maturity and temperament shone through and gave her balance. Good story as always, thanks Cat ☺ p s. Narrated beautifully by Craig Jessen (yum)
wish these books didn't end so fast it like it ends to soon. but very good read besides the abrupt ending.
"Love Was Right Under Her Nose All Along"
I love stories about unrequited love where the couple has a happy ending. Usually it's the man who is clueless about the amazing girl who is right under his nose, but in this book it's the heroine who's view of her brother's friend changes. This is a well-written, sweet and sexy friends to lovers story that I recommend for anyone, but especially lovers of romance.
"Loved it "
Another amazing audio for this series. I love the narrator that tells us these stories, he does an amazing job of bringing them to life. The story is one of my favorites as I fell for Chris in book one and wanted him to get his happy ending. With adventure along the way Chris does get his happy ending
"Strong performance by Craig Jessen"
I enjoyed Kissed by a SEAL by Cat Johnson. Since it is a short book, it can be difficult to fully develop the story and the character. Ms. Johnson does this very well. I'm glad she had the hero and heroine already acquaintances. That made the romance that blossoms between them much more believable.
Chris is a great character. He has all the ingredients needed, good looks, bravery, and a certain vulnerability, which I enjoyed a great deal. That vulnerability is what I found most appealing. Most ex-SEALs rarely show that in their character in most of the military romances I've read with a SEAL.
I also enjoyed Darci. She is an uncomplicated character, but sweet young woman. There could have been a bit more character building to add some depth to her that would have enhanced the romance between her and Chris.
Now, let's talk the sexual scenes, they were smokin' hot. Their passion burned my ears and heated my Kindle. The chemistry becomes sizzling as the story progresses.
All in all, this is an enjoyable read. The suspense angle is very well-written and believable as well, and kept the pacing fast. While there is not much conflict, I found that refreshing because sometimes there is too much of that and it drags out the story.
If you enjoy a hot romance between a gorgeous Navy SEAL with plenty of great love scenes, then you will enjoy Kissed by a SEAL. I know I did. Happy reading!
