This epilogue was not necessary and did not have to be written as an extra. It just seems to have warranted us spending additional money or using a credit. Goodness, this could have been added to the book ending. The narrator is also horrible and his voice as a female sucks!
The narrator absolutely ruined this ending. He was terrible! I don't think the story was that bad, but the narrator was so bad it was truly difficult to listen too.
The story is interesting, but the narrator is awful. He is especially bad during the sex scenes, which made me very uncomfortable. It was nice to know the end of the story.
"Horrible horrible performance. Don't buy this"
I just wasted a credit on this book. I have gotten the series and so far so good on that. But really this guy we is performing the voices is so annoying I could only listen to it for 10 min. I had to even force that because I was determined to listen to the story. I urge you to just buy the kindle version and let Siri read it to you. At least it's cheaper and less annoying.
"narrator makes it unlistenable"
I adore this series but this narrator makes it unendurable to listen. His voice is too deep and too inflexible resulting in all female characters sounding like a mocking farce. I would rather listen to text to speech. This narrator is not right for this genre
I love the witty banter and interweaving of all the characters across the series
Simon prebble. Barbara Rosenblatt. Davina porter. The man who does Laura kinsale audible.
I could not endure listening longer than five minutes so I can not say
Please redo with another narrator
My dissapoinment so bad in the narration dragged though it to find out what should have been in first ending. just terrible But this is the first time dissapointed in Writers efforts.
First I have to say that this narrator produced the absolute WORST character distinctions I've ever heard! I literally cringed during his portrayal of Gareth. The other characters didn't fare much better.
That being said, it was disappointing to find out that it took so long for the jewels to be discovered by Hyacinth. Even the way it played out was anticlimactic. After being thoroughly entertained by the original story and enjoying other stories in the "Bridgerton" series and their epilogues, this epilogue just fell flat. Julia Quinn missed the mark on this one.
"Worst Narrator EVER!!!"
The narrator makes every character sound nasal, whiny and seriously annoying. I don't know who hired this man, but they should be ashamed, and the narrator should be banned from ever recording another word.
The continuation of the story is good, but you might want to consider reading it in print instead.
The epiloque was fun, not as well written as the original story. Unfortunately the narration sounds like a joke. The man narrating sounds ridiculous.
"Save yourself the aggrevation!"
This narration is so poorly done that I recommend you avoid it at all costs. The teenaged daughter sounds like a petulant 8 year old; Gareth sounds like a coachman. Hyacinth rates the narrator's normal voice (male) so it is difficult to remember that a woman is speaking. Painful in the extreme!
