Brody is a talented motorcycle mechanic and werewolf stuck in his painful past. On yet another depressing night, he is viciously attacked by vampires.
Fallon is a brilliant tattoo artist with inherent magic. Tired of men and their games, she climbs onto her Harley and leaves her old life behind.
Running for his life, Brody crashes into Fallon and sparks fly. She ends up stranded in the Northwest with her ride out of commission.
With no ride and nowhere to go, Fallon allows her best friend to convince her to stay in Brody's apartment. He's determined to claim her heart and keep her safe from the shadows in her past. Fallon prides herself on her independence and would rather keep him safe, even from herself.
With the impending danger from the group of vampires and dark mages, they will have to work together. The closer they get, the harder it is for her to fight her attraction.
Be prepared for monsters, magic and lots of ink.

Reading is a passion and an obsession.
This is the first book in the Others of Edenton paranormal romance series. I really enjoyed it!
I downloaded this as an audio book, as I wanted to read this book, but due to time constraints was unable to. This story is narrated by Kelley Hazen, who did a fantastic job in bringing the characters to life.
Fallon O'Shay is a wonderful character. I really liked her. She is a tattoo artist and a druid. She is a very stubborn, feisty and determined woman. After leaving her ex-boyfriend and accidentally running into a werewolf, she finds herself in Edenton, where danger awaits.
Brody Dean is also a wonderful character. I liked him a lot too. He is a mechanic and second in command to Slater, the Alpha of the werewolf pack in Edenton. Fleeing a vampire attack, Brody literally runs into Fallon's motor cycle and falls hard for the feisty druid.
Having previously read the prequel to the series, I was looking forward to continuing the series. I started listening to this book and I was quickly pulled in. This book is told through several points of view, but Fallon and Brody have the most say. The melodramatic and "teenage angst-y" dialogue of the prequel was not as prevalent in this tale, although some of the characters still managed to sound too young and juvenile despite being mature adults.
I still found myself hating Fallon's best friend Jess, whom I had met in the prequel. She has a tendency to whine and Kelley Hazen's interpretation of this character was spot on in my opinion. However, Jess had a bit of competition on the whining front. I didn't take a liking to Fallon's ex, Isaac, either; he is the biggest drama queen I have ever come across! I can't believe I am saying this, but I agree with Jess when I wonder what Fallon ever saw in the weretiger. He came across as a pathetic, self-pitying wimp.
But, it was the romantic tension between Fallon and Brody that kept me hooked and enthralled as I to listening to the story. Their instant attraction fairly sizzled and sparked as the story progressed. I love the interaction between them. They make a wonderful couple.
There are other characters that make this story interesting. I liked getting to know them all better. Hayden is the Sheriff of Edenton and a Fae. Then there is Dacia. She is a character whom I wasn't sure of at first, as she had set her sights on Brody and her jealousy of Fallon made her do some really dumb things. However, she redeemed herself in my eyes with her actions later on in the story.
Malachi is a dark villain, but his presence is not really felt until later in the story and I was left wondering what he and the Dales had against the werewolves. Unfortunately, that was one thing that was not really explained properly by the author in my opinion.
The story is a mix of romance, magic and danger, and takes the reader on an emotional roller coaster ride from start to finish. There are some fantastic fight scenes, as well as some steamy bedroom scenes, which were very descriptive; I could see the scenes quite clearly in my mind's eye. However, it was the training scene where Fallon and Dacia come to blows that I found quite memorable; it was intense, if short-lived!
There are several twists and turns in the plot that surprised me and I didn't see coming. Though this book does not finish on a cliffhanger, it left me looking forward to continuing the series to find out what happens next!
Brandy L. Rivers has written an intriguing start to a series. I love her fast paced writing style, and the flow is wonderful. I would definitely read more of her books in the future.
Due to explicit scenes of a sexual nature, I do not recommend this book to readers under the age of 18. However, I do recommend this book if you love hot erotic paranormal romances full of werewolves, vampires, fae, druids etc. - Lynn Worton
"Ok book, but reading it would have been better!"
Decent plot, I guess. Druids, werewolves, vampires, Fae, tattoo artist and Harleys! Parts of the book were kind of corny. But I think that is more because of the narrator. It sounded like cartoon characters. If anyone has ever heard the Pikachu cartoon, then you know exactly how the characters sound. (unfortunately, I am very familiar with how Pikachu sounds, because my children have tortured me on a daily bases for years with this cartoon!) The different voices and ranges are good, but most of the female voices sounded like peppy little pikachu characters hyped on an energy drink. The hero and heroine have deeper voices. Thank God! I think I would have liked the book more if I had read it.
I will probably purchase other books by the author as a kindle book. So this book was still worth it because it introduced me to another writer :).
"Bad writing, story and narration"
I got tthis based on the glowing reviews. I guess people look for different things in a book. This is one of the worst books I've listened to. I've listened to 3.5 hours thinking I'd give it a chance and was doing a task and wanted to liten to something, but I don't think I can finish it. I generally expect these type of novels to be escapist and formulaic, but this one doesn't have anything to redeem it. The dialogue is uninspired and the characters flat. The narration is also quite bad. The main character isn't too bad, but most of the other women sound like you would expect a Barbie doll to sound and the male lead voice is terrible. Sounds more like an elderly uncle than a man in his prime. I will run, run from any other books by this author or read by this narrator.
I came across this book as I was looking for something different and I am glad I did. Lets see we have a very beautiful powerful trouble tattoo artist. a beta whom lost his mate, the alphas' mate can see the future and see all kind of trouble headed their way, some very mean vampires, insane exlover. all I can say I LOVED IT
"Loved the book and the audio version was great too"
This starts off with a kick ass heroine (got to love them, no wussy whinnying chick here) named Fallon riding her motorcycle like a bat out of hell. She had the lights off and has the power to silence the motor so she can’t be seen or heard. One problem, Brody is in wolf form running from vampires and runs right into Fallon. The run in damages her bike and hurts him in the process. Fallon manages to save his butt from the vampires. Brody tries to do right by her and tells her he will fix her bike. Fallon’s best friend, Jesse, happens to live in the same town as Brody and convinces her to stay at his place in an apartment above his garage and arranges a job for Fallon. Fallon takes a job as a tattoo artist to ward all the wolves in the pack at Brody’s brother shop since she doesn’t have wheels at the moment. There is a jealous girl that wants Brody and past acquaintances of Fallon show up to cause HUGE trouble for Brody, Fallon and the pack.
I loved this book. How could you not when you have a Kick ass heroine, Fallon, who can hold her own and doesn’t take crap from anyone, a boyfriend, Brody, who is head over heels for Fallon, the best friend, Jessie, who gets to see things as they occur or seconds before, to the big fight scene. This book had me from the moment it started until it ended.
This is by far the best book in this series so far!! What an amazing story!! The characters are so real. You become one with this story!!
Loved it. by far my favorite story from her yet. I love jow strong the female leads always are and damn the lead is a bad ass in this one!
This is my favorite book by Brandy L Rivers. listening to it has made it even better! I would recommend it to all! Thank you Brandy!
In some ways yes because it made it hands free and the woman who did the voice was awesome. I even loved how she put a growl in her voice to sound more like Brody.
I loved this story in general but I really loved how Fallon, the female lead was such a kick butt kind of girl. Brody too was a Beta with alpha traits and I love Alphas.
Brody and his growl
Every time she spoke for Brody I smiled and I laughed out loud quite a few times. Where I had headphones on my family thought I was crazy.
"WOW just freaking amazing!!!"
I love both but the audio did bring the characters alive. Which was just awesome.
There are a lot but I love when Fallon and Brody first meet and then when Fallon finally realizes she loves Brody.
When Fallon is teaching the wolves, mages and others to fight against the bad guys. She in up kicking their butts.
Yes this is a book I can so listen to in one sitting.
"Intense Paranormal Suspense Romance"
The audio version of this book is quite enjoyable and the length is not too long that the story drags or gets tiresome from listening. I think it is way more intriguing to listen to the various style of tone and accent assigned to each character. It gives you a better sense of their personality and how they are truly feeling in the scenes taking place throughout the story. I read audios sometimes by themselves or in conjunction with the print version and I always love being transported to a place where I can listen to the characters outside of my own imagination. In Too Deep has a lot of life, the story is very intense and there is so much going on that the audio helps weed through a lot of what is happening and the characters literally come to life leaving a lasting impression.
The most memorable moment for me was definitely when Brody and Fallon finally allowed themselves to follow their urges and take the next step and holy cow it was super hot! Their attraction is sizzling constantly during the story and when the two of them come together its all sexy fireworks, intense passion and devoted love.
My most favorite scene was probably the one with Fallon and Brody's admirer Daesha. Fallon has taken it upon herself to teach the pack and the other supernatural beings how to fight against the Dale and their evil minions. Daesha attempts to take down Fallon in jealousy and ends up falling really short and getting her behind handed to her. However Fallon is the better woman and gives her another chance to redeem herself. I really loved this scene we saw a more compassionate side of Fallon and a less vile side of Daesha when she finally apologizes for her immature actions. Plus Daesha's voice in the novel cracks me up its so perfect and utterly obnoxious.
In too Deep
Edenton, will the love between a Witch and a Wolf be enough to save them all?
Great Story and wonderful start to a new series. I loved all the characters and the different powers and traits of each. The situations were thrilling and the action was well paced and full of suspense and heart-racing moments. I loved the connection between the two main characters and how strong they both were. They were equals in this story and that's rare, Fallon is a phenomenal witch and Brody is her ever loyal lover, friend, and protector. Awesome and exciting read and audio.
