A new adventure begins on Harmony in the brand-new novel from New York Times best-selling author Jayne Castle.
Hannah West and Elias Coppersmith have no regrets about their impulsive wedding - because they can't remember it. All either can remember is that they were on the run. With Hannah's dubious background and shaky para-psych profile, she could have done much worse. The coolly competent mining heir arouses her curiosity - as well as other parts of her mind and body. And even her dust bunny likes him. But a honeymoon spent retracing their footsteps leads Hannah and Elias into the twisting underground catacombs, where secrets from both their pasts will come to light - and where the energy of their clashing auras will grow hot enough to burn.

"Where is Joyce Bean?"
First, let me start by saying that I love the Ghost Hunter series. Generally, I also like to listen to Barbara Rosenblat. But not in this series. Joyce Bean did an awesome job on the earlier ones that she narrated. I will probably bypass any future audio books in the series as this one was just hard to listen to.
"Please don't let Barbara Rosenblatt read any more of Jayne Castle's books."
I liked the story. I like most if not all of Jayne Castle's stories. But the narrator makes it difficult to enjoy the stories. The voice is way too old for the character. She squeaks and quavers. Please stop using her. Try Rene Raudman or some one like her. PLEASE!
"Love the dust bunny"
The story is great
If you can get past the sound of her voice the constant smacking she does will drive you crazy
Great book but the narrator sucks and really hurts the book
JAKs books need some new narrators. This voice was very old sounding and had strange pauses in the middle of sentences. This made it hard to concentrate in the story.
I enjoy Barbara Rosenblatt's narration of the Anna Pigeon series, but her voice is just wrong for this series. I actually considered not purchasing the audiobook when I saw she was the narrator, but since Jayne Ann Krentz has never disappointed with her futuristic paranormals, I decided to take a chance. It took several chapters before I could get lost in the book without being forcibly dragged out by the narration. The story is great, and the characters nuanced, so it's a shame to have it pulled down by the narration.
"Please change narrator"
I truly enjoyed the story line but the narrator's voice kind of creeps me out. I don't want to say bad things about people but please use someone else's voice. I would have given this book another star if not for that. I haven't said anything on the other books she has narratorated in the series hoping she would not be on the next,. That didn't happen so I get I had to say something.
The narrator sounded like an old lady. Sometimes she even sounded drunk. I hated listening to her and it ruined the book for me. Sometimes when she paused, you could hear her swallow. Never again. I almost asked for my credit back.
I like the author. I've listened to her books before and they are lightweight but still enjoyable.. However, if they use the same narrator on future books, I'll just read the book rather than listen.
Get another narrator!
Not really. I was so distracted by the poor narration, I felt like it was a waste of a credit.
"Good book, but you need a new performer."
I liked to the story and have listened to or read every one of Jayne Castle's Harmony books. I hate to be a critic but you really need a new performer. Her voices are too similar and do not fit the characters. There is a lot of swallowing and lip smacking that she does and I rarely if ever hear that with other performers.
"Like fingernails on chalkboard"
NO, the narrator's voice was so gravelly and broken I almost couldn't finish the book. I thought about trying to get a refund and just go with an ebook. I love the author, I think I have most of her books in one format or the other but I will not get an audible book if narrator Barbara Rosenblat.
"Dry mouthed, noisy narrator is annoying"
Heavy swallowing, lip smacking... Could barely make it through the story. Loved the story but narrator was annoying.
