Nonsense
Ridiculous and excessive sex stuff, and entirely unnecessary. Could have been done in a much more articulate and clever manner, this seemed like it was written by a 16 year old boy in heat.

Disappointing
Started well - interesting background on Hetch, but then deteriorated into chauvinistic sex - what a shame

Great characters
Lovely story, a little bit predictable but good all the same. Can’t halo but root for Hetch

Entertaining
story was ok. as part of the plus catalogue its fine. Male narrator was great, female had a very off-putting breathing technique. I don't think i have ever heard a narrator inhale through their nose as much as she does. Compared to the male narrator it was jarring (better recording software maybe? His audio was cleaner no lip smacking or random sniffs)
The cover art interested me, and I thought we would get a complex character dealing with a very stressful job. Other than a few convenient plot fodder moments (which i found quite shallow tbh), his profession didn't add anything to the story which was disappointing but it was entertaining enough for what it was worth. i dont think I will follow the series unless its released with membership (and hopefully changes female narrator)

Good
Male voice actor gave a better performance than the female voice but I enjoyed the story regardless

This is not ok
When a woman says no repeatedly and then moves to her parents’ to get away from you, she is not flirting, and if you think she is then you need to seek help. I listened on hoping to discover there was some kind of twist/reveal to the protagonist’s behaviour that would explain why he’s such a flagrant misogynist but none seems to be forthcoming so I’m abandoning after several hours of patience. It’s not ok to normalise characters like this, he’s a dangerous individual and not in a sexy way. Also, no one ever got laid talking to a woman like he does, he’s an absolute joke.

Swoon 💕
Oh, I do love Hetch 💕 I didn't feel like the story was too repetitive and both main characters were loveable. Definitely read again.

Great story, as always
I usually do like everything from this author. This book wasn't different. Great story, as always a bit predictable, but we're not in here for surprises, so that's OK. The only thing that was a tiny bit off-putting for me was the completely unnecessary move into religious/spiritual realm. Not to reveal too much of the story, it should always be neutral, with no trips into a particular kind of spirituality, especially in this genre.

enjoyable!
yes it's a chick flick in a book, but it is more than that, rarely would i compare Authors, but it would be a compliment to say quite Samantha A Cole
