Summary
Mistakes? You name them, Jessica Sousa has made them, and having regrets doesn't change a damn thing. As her life begins to fall down around her, she questions every decision she's ever made. She comes to one conclusion - she doesn't deserve to be happy.
Preston West thinks Jessica is fine the way she is. He loves her and intends to convince her they belong together. A challenge never deterred him in the past, and he doesn't plan on letting it get in his way now.
Unfortunately, he might not have the time he thinks he does to win her heart. As the clock ticks down, they have to battle not only Jessica's stubborn pride, but her failing health, and someone hell bent on destroying her forever.
The odds are against Jessica and Preston, will they find a way to beat them?

short touching story
Jessica made a big mistake with Preston awhile back.Preston remained in love with her but Jessica’s attitude and pride put a wedge between them.
This is a good , short story about second chances and sort of redemption. Preston’s feelings and how he expressed them were also touching and memorable. Jessica's condition and discernment were thought-provoking .
recommend enjoying this story. (NOTE: there are mature scenes in the story).

Good addition to the series
Book 3, Jessica and Preston story. The were both featured in the previous books.
Jessica is now understanding the truth meaning of the saying (kama is a bitch). She is just going around in circles not letting Preston in because she knows he is the only one that will be by her no matter what
I absolutely love Lana's character, a confident sassy woman who takes no crap from anyone. Jessica is lucky to have her at the lowest point in her life and everyone deserves a friend. I like the suspense and danger in all the stories it makes them more interesting.
