One tiny lie can cause a whole lot of trouble...Magee Sinclair is desperate to prove she's a worthy heir to her family's advertising agency so when a potential client asks her to stretch the truth in return for his business, she's more than willing to play along with his masquerade.
Justin Kane just lost his fiancee, and he's going to lose his chance to expand his business if he doesn't find a replacement fast. She needs to be cute, smart and great at mountain biking. Magee Sinclair is the perfect choice to fool his potential business partner. Or maybe not. Because Magee's been telling lies of her own. She knows as much about mountain biking as Justin knows about true love. Before the weekend's over, though, they'll both get a thorough education in what it means to fall head over heels....

"Ugh...should be zero stars"
I don't know what was worse the story or the narrator. I got to the point where I didn't want to cut on my iPod because I didn't want to hear it. The female character in the story is so weak and the dialog is so stupid I don't know how anyone could make it to the end of the book...I didn't. After 3 hours of listening I couldn't take it anymore. I just want to warn off everyone else so you don't throw away your credit/money.
I wanted to try a romantic audiobook, and I'm glad I bought this one despite the reviews.
I like to do a few things at the same time, so I want audiobooks that don't require too much attention to get whats happening. This one was perfect for me. I liked the narrator, the storry and the characters. At times I felt a bit sorry for Magee (main character), and some times that she could be a bit more helpfull.
Great book. Would definitely recommend it!
I tried and tried to give this book a chance. The writing is geared to a 12 yr old and the story line is predictable and boring. I did not finish the book and I am deleting it from my library.
"Great story, bad reader!"
I loved the storyline, but the narrator when not reading the character parts read like she was running out breathe. Stop trying to sound sexy and just read the parts.
Yes with a different reader.
"dumb. don't waste your time"
These characters are so one dimensional and the dialogue so stupid, that I can't believe this was published at all. The narrator is just HORRIBLE. She reads like she's auditioning for Dynasty or a bad soap opera. Avoid.
"A lesson on Don't Give up"
good listen. core romance story. keeps you glued to the listen.
Magee, doesn't give up. See's life as fun
I love Karen White, and have purchased most of her romance reads. Julie James books are great.
ex girl friend made me as mad as the author wanted the listener to be.
good for the money
I liked the narrator. The story is not original but it's cute and it got the job done for me since I like to work and listen.
"Good Short Story"
quick fun little exciting
not making the jump over the mud
Maggie because it would be an adventure in itself
Great short story but easy to see what was going to happen next
"Good for the price"
Long, well-narrated, decent
The story was ok and well priced for the length, but was expecting more romance scenes.
