This is the remarkable first book in the stunning new Wolfpack Trilogy. It tells the story of Aisha, a curvy girl who is abused and humiliated by her boyfriend, Heath. He makes her believe that she is fat and ugly. When she moves to Alaska, she learns that there are men in the forest who can shift into wolves. They are more than willing to show her just how beautiful and desirable her body really is. Will you join Aisha on this remarkable, soul-stirring, journey?

"This was.....simply put......horrible!"
To begin with, the narrator has no concept of the flow of the English language. She chops the sentences and the misplaced pauses are far to long. I listened to this at a much faster speed and the pauses were still too long and irritating.
Some of the "chapters" probably don't fill a full page.
"don't ask this ?."
Total disappointmen . At Ending. Up n the air. No one that I know.
Not sure at this time .
Ending needs to be reworked another 10 chapters. Would help.
"Have you heard of a bacterial infection?"
If I could, I would give this book a negative five star.
It seems like the author was lazy and did not even try to make the story interesting or relatable. All the characters were flat and had nothing to keep me interested to find out what happens to them, especially the main female character. Which is saying something since there is really only three characters that this whole book is about. Giving canned explanations does not work when trying to convey the reason as to why the main female character stayed with the abusive boyfriend and guide after they gang raped her the first time. And having the two main male characters continuously say "that's the way it is up here" as they get ready to gang rape her again is when I gave up on the book. The main female character seemed to accept, showing no sign of growing, no sign of changing. The author must have thought repeating the same scenarios would keep the book fresh, when all it did was become boring. And get disgusting.
Not a very good story and rape scenes are gross. Really weak. There are much better wolf pack romance novels. This was pretty much garbage in my book.
"Do not waste your time"
There is no way.... she just needs to start over from scratch, I rarely do a written review if I don't care for a story I usually just move on but this book is horrible.
no way for Narrator to add or detract from this book
the heroine Aisha, she was the biggest doormat ever. If you think you getting these terrific heroes you might as well think again because Heath's in this story for the long haul..is apparently one of the heroes
I usually like a timid, shy and awkward heroine but I do not like when you can not stand up for self and to basically be raped by the heroes and stay with them because you think it is your only option...it is Alaska, and the night after her forced menage she was in Juno, no the Sahara Desert she could have left then
"Being a SUBMISSIVE is a choice, RAPE IS NOT!!!"
I kept reading hoping this young female would grow a back bone. When her (@sshole) boyfriend was moving away for a job. It would have been a perfect opportunity start her life anew. But, she didn't which put her in DANGEROUS SITUATIONS & at his sick twisted mercy. The idea that women are WEAKER & need to PLACATE to men around them to "survive" might have been that way in the backward days but, I hope it is not really popular today. Yes whoever has the "Gold" rules but a female can try hard & band together with other females to get what they need. OR LEAVE.. I can't believe any female (beaten) or not would want future generations to go through what they have suffered. But, maybe that is why all the bad stuff happened. The females allowed it. The inn owner could sell her business & leave. But maybe whoring one self is easier.. This book made me sad.. & angry.
"kept thinking it would get better, NOT!"
The way it was written. chapters were way too short. It appeared sometimes as if a chapter might have only been one page only. unbelievable. Then we need to talk about how sad of a character the author made Aisha to be. I know that there are actually women out there that would put up with this kind of treatment but most people want to see some sort of strength in her. Then we come to the end. this was the worst part... it just felt like it was chopped off, and not like a cliffhanger. bad , just bad.
Not sure I would, I would pay better attention to reviews given vs what the storyline is promising.
almost anyone else. she did not read it at a flowing pace. It was choppy and at times annoying as h***. It was all I could do to keep listening. I think I may have liked the book better if it was better read by the narrator. Sad to say, but this may not be her cup of tea.
I kept listening cause I wanted to know when and how she was going to meet the pack.
I think that some thought should be given to changing the chapter allocations. say cut it down to 30 chapters instead of 60+. Maybe it will read better.
