Jericho isn't the famous rock star he once was, though he still plays in a local band and loves to party. Beautiful women come and go, but music is his only passion - until a sassy redhead named Isabelle Monroe shows up unexpectedly. Izzy has always loved the freedom and adventure of life on the road, but she has recently decided to settle down-as much as a rogue wolf can. When her boyfriend gets her a job working at a hot Shifter bar, she runs into the last person on earth she expected to see again. Old habits die hard, and sometimes the toughest addictions to shake are the ones that control our hearts.

I am 48 ,self employed , mum of two. I love my kindle and have now discovered audio and can't stop listening
The story was ok , but these books are getting a bit repetitive, narration was excellent.
I've become really immersed in the series.
Izzy and Jericho seem like an unlikely couple to everyone else but each other; the only trouble is outside forces keep getting in between them. Jericho is the most romantic of the brothers, which is weird because he’s usually a womanizing rock star, but Izzy’s influence brings out the best in him. My favourite in the series so far.
I've recently discovered this series and thoroughly enjoyed the first two audio books. I wondered how the author would keep up the pace and steamy content. Yet again the characters drew me in, are relatable, though other worldly, and keep me listening with burning ears. Definitely a must for lovers of supernatural steamy romance stories.
"A SHIFTER ROMANCE THAT'LL GET YR TAIL WAGGING"
Dannika Dark's style of writing and the input of detail she puts into each action-packed Chapter enables the listener to picture each scene, each character, each twist and each exciting event as the story slowly, and deliciously, unfurls. There's chemistry that needs no charts between a shifter H and H who have very human hang-ups, deep feelings and who so deserve each other but are tested at every turn. A plot that has build-up, tension, drama, danger, passion, sex, a great cast of secondary characters and a tight pack that mixes humans in with wolves who are all there for each other.
Then finally, at the end, it leaves you with that satisfied feel-good feeling that you have been so engrossed in all the action that those tiresome chores like the overflowing basket of ironing you've been dreading has now miraculously been emptied and it's contents transformed. The fairies must have just left because your place sparkles, the train went supersonic as the commute was over in a flash and finally, the wait at the dentists was actually enjoyable....... ahhh, don't you just love Audible.
Worth a credit? A well-written and brilliantly narrated book that has characters and a plot that sucks you right in so..... YEAH very creditworthy.
"Five Fabulous Stars!"
I recently listened to Dannika Dark's new release Risk, and was reminded how much I enjoy her writing style, so I dusted of my iPad library, and finally made time to listen to Five Weeks. Wow! It was GREAT! (I'll admit after listening to Six Months, I was in no hurry to move on to book three due to the narration for book two, April's character made it sound too depressing. However, I can safely say Five Weeks narration was much better!) :-)
The stories Dark creates are fascinating and have the perfect blend of drama, suspense, and romance, but it's the level of detail she provides that make them truly awesome to listen too. Each scene is descriptive, and has all little details like the character's surroundings, their mannerisms, movements, clothing, what songs they are listening too, etc. which makes it easy to visualize the story unfolding in your mind.
There's lots of characters, and each have their own unique personalities. As the story moves along, we get to watch them interact with each other, and the dialogue and banter between them comes across as natural and oddly realistic.
Nicole Poole did a great job narrating book three, and the characters voices are consistent. I listened to Six Months back in January 2016, and was able to easily identify the characters in book three.
Verdict: A fascinating PNR about shifters, with awesome world building, and excellent character development, that's neither too dark or light, and have the right blend of drama, action, suspense, romance and hot sex scenes.
I will definitely be continuing this series!
The bad boy rocker meets the redhaired she demon ! This third installment in the Seven Years series does not slow down. Jericho has been a lot of things but a one woman man is not one of them until the love of his life returns . The question is after all this time can he finally be man enough to keep her .
Izzy Monroe is no one to play with. Her fiery red hair matches her red hot temper and you better come correct or not at all on, unless your name is Jericho . Her soft heart gets her into trouble but her iron will finally gets her the one thing she's always wanted and needed in our life .
After a lot of false starts and bone jarring stops, all truths are revealed in a heart stopping conclusion of events that will leave you breathless and cheering . Four days here I come , and yes Trevor is still a hot mess & my boy
"Five Weeks rocks!"
The bad boy rocker wolf gets his story told in Five Weeks. As with the other books, there is the sexy wolf shifter and the woman he can't seem to live without. The road to happy-ever-after is rocky, but they eventually get there. Fabulous story by Dannika and Nicole reads it like a dream. Love this series!
"Best so far!!!!!"
This was the best so far in the series!
Can't wait to read the rest of the series! Well done!
"LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SERIES!!!"
So far this is my favorite book of this series, voicing these amazing characters is out of this world. Dannika Dark has done an amazing job in bringing these characters to life. Each beautifully described in detail to show their uniqueness. The story doesn't steer away from its purpose each connects to the other as a continuation to the previous book. Nicole Poole is as talented and they come and she gives the characters a voice and bringing them to life. The many voices she can do is very impressive, she gives each their own unique identity. I simple loved all the different tones and voices she can do and amazing is putting it lightly. This series is definitely a must read.
"Worth more than a Credit"
I would totally recommend this to a friend!!! Not only the series, but this book as an individual. Izzy and Jericho have such a rich history and then experience even more trouble after meeting up again, the book is very well rounded!! Definitely not just another shifter romance!
Jericho is my favorite!! He is character that stood out even in the previous books, and probably the most relate-able due to his history of drug abuse. During the book you find your emotions for him flipping from rooting for him, hoping he is okay to being blow away by his attitude and capabilities. He's the bad boy all parents warn you about but at the same time he's the man you want in your corner during a fight, a man who can be ridiculously sweet.
I've listened to all of the other books she's done in this series and I think this book is by far her best performance! She does such an amazing job with Jericho's and Izzy's voice. The throatiness and light growl she adds to them doesn't feel theatrical at all and it always leaves you on the edge wanting to hear more.
Don't mess with the wolf.
"The best of the series so far"
I expected this to be okay after the first two, which I didn't hate but didn't love either. This one really surprised me. The pace was good, the action and suspense great, but best of all, the love story believable and the tension just right. I hope this is a sign the rest of the series continues on the same path.
"Much better than the last one"
After the last book I almost gave up on this series. This book regained my interest. The lead characters are outside the norm for this kind of novel and it was a refreshing change.
"It was ok."
I'm getting bored of this series. It's just the same thing over and over again. Idiot girl gets into trouble, macho guy saves idiot girl - multiple times, then they have sex. No man talks the way these men talk in this series. It's too ridiculous and unbelievable. I am regularly rolling my eyes and "omg"ing to myself with this one. I was bored and ran out of good books to listen to. Just skip this series. It's not riveting or amazing. There are much better smut novels out there.
